Marathon’s limited Watches of Espionage collaboration brings a titanium case to the SAR diver for the first time, according to launch coverage. The reported 39mm case retains 300m water resistance, while the no-date automatic movement is specified with a 65-hour power reserve. The announced run is 200 watches at $2,250; those launch terms do not confirm present availability.
What is new about the Titanium SAR?
The watch is a collaboration between Marathon and Watches of Espionage (W.O.E.). Gear Patrol described it on September 22, 2026, as the first titanium version of Marathon’s SAR military dive watch. Its case is reported as Grade 5 titanium, replacing the 316L stainless steel used in the steel GSAR configuration discussed below. The strap is black FKM rubber with a Grade 5 titanium pin buckle; it is not supplied with a full titanium bracelet.

W.O.E. claims Grade 5 titanium is 40 percent lighter than 316L stainless steel, as reported by Gear Patrol. That is a material comparison attributed to the collaboration partner, not a measured comparison of the complete titanium and steel watches. The reviewed launch reporting gives no independently measured whole-watch weight for either version.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Dial and collaboration details
The launch report describes a matte black dial with applied markers, upgraded MaraGlo, and a red W.O.E. signature. Four red minute-track marks refer to a clandestine-meeting timing window described by W.O.E.; that explanation is the partner’s stated rationale. A spade logo appears on the crown and caseback. The strap has two tails, one extended to fit over a dive suit or heavy gear.
How it compares with Marathon’s listed steel USMC GSAR
Marathon’s official US product page lists the 41mm USMC GSAR as a 316L stainless-steel watch with a Sellita SW200-1 movement, Incabloc shock absorber and date display. It is also 14mm thick. The GSAR page provides a useful baseline, but this particular USMC configuration should not be treated as representative of every GSAR or as confirmation of the Titanium SAR’s official product reference.

The 39mm and 41mm figures describe different measurements on the Titanium SAR: case diameter and bezel diameter, respectively. They are not conflicting case-size claims. Two Broke Watch Snobs reports the familiar SAR platform at 41mm across, 48mm lug-to-lug and 14mm thick, which offers additional context but does not establish a Titanium SAR lug-to-lug measurement.

The reviewed Marathon catalog page lists the steel USMC GSAR but does not independently confirm the Titanium SAR’s official reference or current availability.
