Their watches are mostly for a younger demographic including watch-buying Millenials which helps explain the brand’s youthful and urban watch designs. However, its quartz movement may not attract serious watch collectors who are after the watch itself and not just the style.

Is Marc Jacobs A Good Watch Brand?
It depends on who you ask. For serious watch collectors, the brand doesn’t even get mentioned as the brand gets bunched together with other designer fashion watch brands. On the other hand, if you ask fashion watch enthusiasts and the younger crowd, they may prefer the design and name recognition regardless of the watch movement.
However, if you want a high-quality watch with better movement, you might want to look at brands such as Timex, Seiko, Citizen, Bulova, Orient, or maybe invest a little more and get something like a Hamilton or Tissot. These brands may have either Japanese or Swiss technology and a long history in the watchmaking industry.
