That identification is important: the Mansart Magnum, the later White Date, and the 2025 Mansart Small Second are not interchangeable specification sets. The comparison below keeps each generation separate.
Mansart Magnum: the review-era specification
Europa Star’s 2020 entry describes a 34 × 39 mm case, 11 mm thick, with an octagonal design inspired by Place Vendôme. It lists an automatic Miyota 90S5 movement and approximately 42 hours of power reserve.

These are published specifications, not a substitute for checking the exact reference in a seller’s listing. In particular, the roughly 42-hour reserve and Miyota calibre belong to the 2020 Magnum record, not to every watch called a Mansart Automatic.
How the design and proportions read
The Magnum’s 34 × 39 mm dimensions and 11 mm thickness make it a relatively compact option on paper. Its octagonal case gives it a more architectural outline than a conventional round dress watch, with the design linked to Place Vendôme in Europa Star’s description. Those numbers establish the case’s dimensions, but they do not alone determine how it will wear: wrist shape, strap fit and the case’s visual geometry also affect perceived size.

The documented specification identifies hours, minutes and seconds, without establishing a date display for this Magnum entry. Avoid assuming that details on a later Mansart dial—or on another variant—also apply to the review-era model.
How later Mansart automatics differ
March LA.B’s White Date listing and the 2025 Small Second collection show why the family name needs a generation or variant attached to it. Both later configurations are listed with 68-hour reserves, but they differ from the Magnum and from each other in movement and display.

The White Date listing describes the G100 architecture and a 68-hour reserve; it should not be used to revise the Magnum’s 2020 Miyota specification. The Small Second’s G121 and subdial are a distinct configuration, not simply a different description of the Magnum.

- Movement and display: Match the stated calibre and reserve to the variant; confirm central seconds or small seconds and whether a date is present.
- Case and water resistance: Compare the listed dimensions and resistance for that model, not another Mansart.
- Strap or bracelet: Verify the attachment and compatibility for the exact automatic reference. Interchangeable Presto straps described for a quartz Mansart do not establish compatibility with every automatic.
