The 2021 March Mania quarter-final set the Czapek Antarctique Terre Adélie against the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Flyback Chronograph in a reader-vote contest. The choice came down less to a provable technical winner than to two different design instincts: Jorg favored the Czapek’s familiar-but-fresh elegance, while Balazs made the case for the Streamliner’s more distinctive character.
What the quarter-final actually compared
Fratello published the matchup on March 25, 2021, asking readers which watch should move on. The contestants were specific models—not the Antarctique and Streamliner collections as a whole: the Antarctique Terre Adélie and the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph. Each writer argued for one watch, so the piece is best read as an opinion-led contest rather than a controlled comparative review. Read the original Fratello quarter-final.
Why Jorg chose the Czapek Antarctique Terre Adélie
Jorg’s case centered on the Terre Adélie’s finishing and dial. He praised the contrast between brushed surfaces and the polished bezel, the dial’s depth, and its applied markers. He also called attention to the red tip of the seconds hand, a small accent that gives the otherwise restrained design a focal point.
Integrated bracelet and movement
The bracelet was part of the appeal, not an afterthought: Jorg viewed it as a natural continuation of the case. For the movement, he highlighted the in-house-developed SXH5.01 automatic caliber, especially its gold micro-rotor and bridge architecture. These are the details he found compelling; the article does not supply independent movement testing or a measured comparison with the Moser.

Why Balazs chose the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph
Balazs emphasized the Streamliner’s integrated bracelet, fumé dial, and hands, along with the character of its Agenhor mechanical flyback movement. He saw the design as balancing vintage cues with a modern form. His preference was for a watch that felt more overtly original, rather than one that refreshed a more familiar luxury-sports-watch vocabulary.
How the designs differ on the wrist
Both watches make the integrated steel bracelet central to their identity, and both writers praised that feature. The 2021 article offers no controlled comfort measurements, however, so it cannot establish which bracelet wears better for a particular wrist.

What current specifications do—and do not—tell you
Later manufacturer material gives useful context about the broader collections, but it should not be mistaken for a specification sheet for either exact 2021 contest watch.
Czapek Antarctique family

H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner family
Moser’s current collection page describes the Streamliner as designed from the integrated steel bracelet up, with cushion-shaped cases, and gives a collection-level water-resistance figure of 12 ATM. The page lists multiple distinct references; it does not establish that the specific 2021 Flyback Chronograph remains available or that every current-lineup specification applies to that contest model. Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which watch is better?
There is no objective winner established by the quarter-final. Choose the Terre Adélie if its blend of familiar proportions, detailed finishing, dial depth, and movement architecture matches your taste. Choose the Streamliner if its more unconventional design language, fumé dial, and flyback-chronograph character are what you value most. The original contest asked readers to vote; it did not demonstrate that one is categorically superior.
