The Maurice Lacroix AIKON Skeleton Urban Tribe is a 39 mm stainless-steel integrated-bracelet watch announced on 22 August 2023. It combines a laser-engraved, architecture-inspired case with an openworked automatic movement beneath a sapphire dial. Launch coverage reported a 500-piece edition, but the movement designation differs between sources, and the available reports establish launch-era—not current—pricing and availability.
What is the AIKON Skeleton Urban Tribe?
Announced by Maurice Lacroix on 22 August 2023, the AIKON Skeleton Urban Tribe is a skeletonized extension of the brand’s AIKON Urban Tribe design. The manufacturer says its visual language draws on urban architecture, particularly the beam-like structures of tall buildings. A detailed motif is laser engraved across the case exterior, while the openworked movement is visible beneath a sapphire dial. Maurice Lacroix’s announcement describes the design and release.
Case, dial and bracelet
Maurice Lacroix specifies a 39 mm stainless-steel case and an integrated bracelet. The dial-side details include facetted luminous hands, luminescent indexes and a dark-grey flange. The engraved exterior and openworked dial give the watch two distinct visual layers: an architectural pattern on the case and a view into the movement beneath the sapphire.
Tool-free strap changes
The watch includes Maurice Lacroix’s Easy Strap Exchange System, which the brand says lets the wearer change straps without tools. That claim does not establish that arbitrary third-party straps will fit; check compatibility for the exact watch and strap before buying.

Movement: ML115 or ML135?
Maurice Lacroix says it worked with Sellita on an exclusive automatic movement called ML115, based on the SW200. WatchTime India’s launch coverage instead identifies the movement as ML135. The two designations are not reconciled by the available documentation, so neither should be treated as a confirmed correction of the other. Buyers comparing specifications should verify the movement designation against documentation for the individual watch.
WatchTime India reported an approximately 38-hour power reserve. This is a launch-era figure from its 2023 coverage, rather than a current independent measurement. WatchTime India’s launch report also gives the reported reference as AI6007-SS009-030-1.

| Market or claim | Reported detail | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Edition size | 500 pieces | WatchTime India, 2023 launch coverage |
| Water resistance | 200 m | WatchTime India, 2023 launch coverage |
| India launch price | Approximately ₹375,000 | WatchTime India, 2023; approximate launch-era price, not a current quote |
| Thailand launch price | 158,000 baht | Maurice Lacroix press release syndicated by VRITimes, 2023; historical market-specific price |
The VRITimes-syndicated Maurice Lacroix release also said the edition had sold out in Thailand and worldwide at that time. That is a contemporaneous 2023 statement, not evidence of present-day availability. The syndicated release supplies the Thailand-specific launch claim.
