What distinguishes the Square Wheel Retrograde?
Rather than using a conventional round seconds hand on a small subdial, the watch displays small seconds through a square wheel positioned at 9 o’clock. A retrograde calendar sits at 5 o’clock: its indication travels across an arc and returns to its starting point at the end of its cycle. The manufacturer lists hours and minutes alongside these two complications.
The square-wheel display is the model’s defining visual feature, while the retrograde calendar gives the dial a second mechanical indication. The movement figures above are Maurice Lacroix’s published specifications, not independent measurements of accuracy, reserve or reliability. The 43 mm case and 15 mm height are useful fit considerations; try the watch on if possible, since wrist fit depends on more than diameter alone.
A 21 mm strap width does not by itself confirm that a replacement strap will fit the watch’s attachment or work with its folding clasp. The manufacturer also says an easy-change system is not available, so verify the exact attachment and clasp compatibility before ordering a replacement.

The silver-reference page also displayed a two-year warranty and an estimated delivery window of 8–10 days. These are listing-specific terms, not guaranteed prices or delivery promises for every market or seller; confirm them with Maurice Lacroix or the retailer before purchase.
