The commercial watch is a public product—not a military-issued timepiece—even though Micromilspec connects its pilot-watch work to an earlier commission for the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
What is the Micromilspec Dualtimer?
The Dualtimer marked Micromilspec’s entry into the public Pilot category. The company is known for developing custom watches with military and professional organizations; the Dualtimer brought that design direction to a watch customers could order directly. The original black-dial model was introduced in August 2025, followed by colored variants and later a white-dial version.
Micromilspec’s official Dualtimer product listing is the primary reference for current specifications and ordering status. The listing is dynamic, so availability and prices can vary by model and configuration.
How the Dualtimer’s GMT works
The watch is powered by an automatic Sellita SW330-2 with a separately adjustable GMT hand. Monochrome describes the arrangement as an office, or caller, GMT: the GMT hand can be set independently, rather than the local hour hand jumping to a new time zone as on a flyer GMT. For someone tracking home time while working in another zone, the 24-hour hand and bezel provide a second time reference.

The bezel is graduated for 24-hour reading and works with the GMT hand. Micromilspec describes green lume for the local-time display and blue for the home-time indication, including the GMT hand and bezel. That color distinction is intended to make the two readings easier to tell apart in low light.

The thickness figures differ between the current brand listing and the 2025 launch report; the sources do not explain the discrepancy. Monochrome’s reported lug-to-lug and lug-width figures are launch-era measurements, while Micromilspec’s current listing supplies the diameter, thickness and water-resistance figures.
Dial colors, editions and strap choices
The black dial was the original 2025 version. In November 2025, Micromilspec announced Perfect Blue, Perfect Green and Perfect Sand variants, each capped at an annual production of 25 pieces. On 1 July 2026, the brand announced a white dial and the return of earlier models in a second batch. Micromilspec describes the white dial’s layout as derived from the Type A Flieger design.

Configurations described by the brand include textured rubber in black, white or orange, and a brushed steel H-link bracelet with a butterfly clasp. Which colors and strap or bracelet combinations can be ordered depends on the model and order page.

What the launch says about Micromilspec
The Dualtimer is notable less as a military watch than as a shift in how Micromilspec presents its work: a public Pilot collection built on a brand identity associated with bespoke projects. Its connection to a Royal Norwegian Air Force commission is part of the brand’s pilot-watch background, not evidence that the retail Dualtimer was issued to aircrew.
For a buyer, the key decisions are whether the office-style GMT suits the intended travel use, which dial and production batch is available, and whether the chosen configuration is on rubber or the steel bracelet. The published dimensions and water resistance provide the basic fit and use information, but they are specifications rather than independent performance testing.
