What the Silver Storm is—and what “hands-on” can establish
This article concerns the silver-dial Archimèdes Silver Storm, not every Archimèdes configuration. The product materials describe an automatic watch with a date display, two crowns, and a rotating internal diver bezel. No first-hand inspection, wrist-fit assessment, timing measurement, or water test is available here, so this is a specification-based assessment rather than a wear review.
Milus presents the Archimèdes as a modern successor to its 1970s Super Compressor and the earlier 666. That is the maker’s lineage narrative, not an independent historical assessment. The brand’s description of design and readability should likewise be understood as product copy.

How the internal bezel and two-crown layout work
Unlike a conventional external dive bezel, the Silver Storm’s timing ring sits inside the crystal. Milus identifies it as bi-directional and describes screw-down crown(s) in the product materials. The supplied specifications do not explain the exact crown-to-function operating sequence, so confirm the instructions for the specific watch before using the bezel for timing.

An internal bezel avoids an exposed rotating ring, but using it requires operating a crown rather than turning an outer bezel. The presence of a helium valve and the 30 ATM rating are specification details; by themselves, they do not establish suitability for a particular dive profile or prove performance in service.
Does the Silver Storm suit your wrist?
The useful fit figures are the 41 mm case diameter, 11.9 mm thickness including the crystal, and 51 mm lug-to-lug. The 51 mm span is the most helpful of these for estimating how far the watch may extend across a wrist, but dimensions alone cannot settle fit: wrist shape, strap curvature, and personal preference matter. No wrist test is available to report. The specified clasp/strap dimension is 18 mm; check the exact strap and clasp configuration with the seller before ordering.

What to verify before buying
- Exact variant: Confirm the listing is for the silver-dial Silver Storm and, where applicable, reference MIH.01.002.316. Ocarat’s listing provides a reference-number cross-check: Ocarat.
- Included strap: The Silver Storm specifications identify a Tropic rubber strap. Do not assume a Milanese bracelet is included; Milus describes variant-dependent strap options, and older press material concerns a different configuration.
- Price and stock: Milus’s product page displayed CHF 2,019 when captured for this article. That is a volatile, region-specific snapshot, not a guaranteed current price. Check the live product page for current price, tax treatment, availability, and shipping terms.
- Warranty and service: Confirm the applicable warranty, local service options, and seller status directly with Milus or the retailer. The referenced product details do not establish those terms.
- Water use: Treat 30 ATM as the manufacturer-stated rating, not a substitute for current guidance from the maker or seller about condition, maintenance, and intended activity.
How to compare it with other compressor-style dive watches
A meaningful comparison needs like-for-like data, not just the “compressor” label or water-resistance number. Check case diameter and lug-to-lug together, thickness, movement and stated power reserve, bezel type and operation, crystal, included strap and width, warranty and service support, and current regional price. Also distinguish a maker’s stated water-resistance rating from independently documented testing. No competing model data is established here, so the Silver Storm cannot be ranked against specific alternatives on these facts alone.

On paper, the Silver Storm combines a Swiss automatic ETA 2892A2 (TOP), compact stated thickness for a watch with a 41 mm case, and the distinctive internal-bezel layout. Its 51 mm lug-to-lug measurement deserves particular attention if fit is a concern. The strongest reasons to investigate further are its specific movement and compressor-style design; the key unresolved buying questions are real-world fit, current price and stock, and the seller’s warranty and service terms.
