The MING 37.07 Mosaic was a hand-wound, time-only watch released in 2022 for the independent brand’s fifth anniversary. Its defining feature is a layered sapphire-and-metal dial designed to evoke the depth of MING’s earlier Mosaic while using a different construction. The model is now archived: MING says deliveries are complete, it is sold out, and it will not be produced again.
Why MING made the 37.07 Mosaic
MING positioned the 37.07 as a more accessible way to explore the visual depth associated with its earlier Mosaic design. The company describes the new dial as visually similar to that earlier work but distinct in how it is made. It was a fifth-anniversary release, not a new production model currently offered by the brand. MING’s archived product page records the design and present status.
How the Mosaic dial is constructed
The dial combines a circular-brushed brass base with a three-layer printed mosaic that uses the upper and lower surfaces of sapphire. Printed gradients and luminous elements contribute to the impression of depth, while Super-LumiNova is applied to the metal base. This layered arrangement is the watch’s visual focus; it is not the same sapphire-based process used for the original Mosaic.
MING also notes that the small bezel leaves the dial visually prominent. The result is a graphic, intricate face rather than a conventional flat dial with a simple printed pattern.

The 38 mm diameter and 44.5 mm lug-to-lug are useful starting points when judging fit, although wrist presence also depends on wrist shape and the dial’s broad visual area. The dimensions and technical details above are from MING’s archived specification.
Movement, water resistance and everyday use
The watch uses the hand-wound Sellita-for-MING SW210.M1 and displays only hours and minutes. Its approximately 40-hour power reserve means it will need winding regularly if worn daily; it does not provide a date or other complication. MING credits Manufacture Schwarz-Etienne with engineering and assembly collaboration.
MING specified 100 m water resistance and domed sapphire crystals on both sides, each with double-sided anti-reflective coating. These are the brand’s published specifications; on a pre-owned watch, condition and service history matter, so the original rating should not be treated as confirmation that a particular example remains water-resistant.

Strap and buckle details
The archived listing names Jean Rousseau strap options in white rubber or Oxblood Barenia. The watch has 20 mm lugs, curved quick-release bars, and MING’s third-generation tuck-under buckle with micro-adjustment. A 20 mm lug width is a useful search dimension, but it does not by itself establish that every third-party strap, bar or buckle will fit correctly.

At launch in July 2022, Hodinkee reported a price of CHF 3,250 and a 50% deposit of CHF 1,625 at order confirmation. The ordering system used two 15-minute windows on July 29, 2022; those were release terms for the launch, not a current ordering opportunity. Hodinkee’s July 25, 2022 launch report documents those historical figures and terms.
MING’s product archive currently marks the 37.07 as sold out, says deliveries are complete, and states that it will not be produced again. Anyone seeking one should treat a listing as pre-owned unless a seller can independently verify otherwise. The two-year limited mechanical warranty listed at launch should not be assumed to cover a second-hand example; check the specific watch’s paperwork and warranty status.
