What does Montblanc’s 500-hour test establish?
Montblanc describes its Laboratory Test 500 as a program lasting 500 hours, or nearly three weeks. Its service guide says the program simulates daily wear, repeated crown adjustments, different climatic conditions, and normal as well as more demanding use of the watch’s functions. Montblanc also says each watch that passes receives an individual certificate: Montblanc service guide.
