How the dial and movement reference the Meisterstück
The design connection is more specific than a centenary name on the dial. Montblanc says the luminescent printing evokes a 1920 blueprint of the writing instrument and plans showing the dimensions of its snowcapped emblem. The numeral 4810 sits above the two rotating, domed chronograph discs.
Gold-colored dial details and the steel case echo the two-color design of a Meisterstück nib. Through the caseback, the rotor carries a calligraphy-inspired “8” and an open-worked Montblanc emblem. Together, these elements make the pen anniversary visible in the watch’s display and movement rather than only in its limited-edition designation.
