The Laco Flieger PRO is not one fixed watch: you choose its case size, Type A or Type B dial, movement and grade, case finish, crown position, caseback, date, and strap or bracelet. That makes the central buying question which combination suits your wrist and preferences—and what it costs—rather than whether there is a single standard specification. Laco’s current listed price range is €950–€1,700, depending on configuration; confirm the final price and availability in its live configurator.
Choose the size and dial before the details
The case is available in 37 mm, 40 mm, and 43 mm diameters. Laco lists the collection at 11 mm high. Diameter and height help compare the options, but they do not establish how a particular size will fit a wrist: lug dimensions and individual wrist measurements are not provided here, and no independent fit test is available.
For a smaller wrist presence, start by considering the 37 mm option; for a larger watch, compare the 40 mm and 43 mm versions. If possible, try on a watch of similar dimensions before ordering, and check the configured model’s full case measurements with Laco.
Type A or Type B
The Flieger PRO comes in the two familiar pilot-watch dial layouts, Type A and Type B. Laco’s current collection page also lists black, dark blue, and green dials. The choice is primarily about the display you prefer; the available evidence does not establish a legibility advantage for either layout.

- Superluminova treatment
Date or no date
A date is an optional configuration choice. Decide whether you want the added calendar display or a dial without it, then check how that option is presented on the exact Type and color you are configuring.
Pick the winding style and movement grade
Laco offers automatic and hand-wound mechanical Swiss movements. The practical distinction is how you want to keep the watch running: an automatic movement winds as you wear it, while a hand-wound movement requires winding by hand. Choose according to that preference rather than assuming one is more accurate; no independent timing results are established here.

- Automatic movement
- Case diameter: 42 mm
- Pilot automatic watch, stainless steel
- Sapphire crystal protects watch from scratches
- Water-resistant to 50 M (165 feet)
Movement availability depends on the selected configuration. Laco identifies its movements as 200, 210, or 215, corresponding to the Sellita SW 200, SW 210-1, or SW 215-1 family, and lists Elaboré and Top grades. It also offers decorated and undecorated options. Confirm the exact movement, grade, and decoration in the configurator and final order details, since these choices can affect both appearance and price.
Configure the case, crystal, and back
- Case finish: Choose brushed stainless steel or dark sandblasted stainless steel.
- Crown position: The crown can be placed on the right or left side. Check that the selected position suits how you wear and handle a watch.
- Crystal: Sapphire crystal is specified, with an optional additional anti-reflective coating. The product information describes one- or two-sided coating options; verify the exact selection for your build.
- Caseback: Choose a closed or display caseback. A display back exposes the movement; a closed back keeps it covered.
- Logo and engraving: Logo and personal engraving are configuration choices. Review the dial and caseback selections together before submitting a personalized order.
Laco specifies a screw-down crown and caseback and water resistance up to 20 ATM. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently verified test results in this review. Treat the stated rating as a product specification, not a blanket recommendation for any particular water activity.

Select a strap or bracelet
The Flieger PRO can be configured with a leather strap or a steel bracelet. This is a choice between different wearing materials and looks, and it contributes to the configured total. Check the exact included option and its price before placing an order; the available information does not establish standalone accessory compatibility or availability for every configuration.
Price, VAT, and delivery
Laco’s current Flieger PRO collection page lists a configuration-dependent range of €950–€1,700. Its Stuttgart PRO product page gives a €950 starting price and states that VAT and shipping are additional. These are manufacturer-published prices, accessed in 2026, and should be rechecked because options, availability, and totals can change. Confirm whether VAT and shipping apply to the precise order and destination you are considering.

Laco says each configured watch is individually crafted in Pforzheim. The manufacturer describes each as “a one-of-a-kind piece” made to the customer’s configuration. That is Laco’s description of its production, not an independent assessment of how unique or distinct any particular build is.
No general production or shipping lead time is established. Ask Laco for an estimate for the exact configuration and destination when ordering rather than relying on an anecdotal customer discussion.
