What is new about the third-generation Aviera GMT?
The AA3.102 is the regular-production third generation of Nezumi’s Aviera GMT. Nezumi describes the design as Swedish and says the watch is assembled and quality controlled in Germany. The third generation retains a 40 mm case diameter but reduces the fixed bezel to 39 mm and revises the case and crystal profile. Those are meaningful design changes without a smaller nominal case diameter.
In a July 7, 2025 hands-on report, Fratello’s Jorg Weppelink called the update “a great step forward compared to the previous model” and described it as more refined and comfortable. He had the watches for a short period, so this is an initial wearing impression, not a long-term owner report or controlled comparison. Fratello disclosed that the article was a partnership post. Is the Nezumi Aviera GMT a true traveler GMT?
Yes. The AA3.102 uses the automatic Miyota 9075, whose independently adjustable local-hour hand lets the wearer change local time in one-hour increments without moving the minute hand or disturbing the home-time display. That makes it a traveler-style GMT, rather than a caller-style GMT in which the independently adjusted hand is typically used to track another time zone.

Nezumi specifies a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 42-hour power reserve. Those figures describe the movement specification; the cited sources do not provide independent accuracy testing for this watch.
Case, dimensions, and dial
Nezumi lists a brushed 316L stainless-steel case, a 39 mm fixed 24-hour bezel, a screw-down crown, and a double-domed genuine sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating. The total thickness includes the crystal, an important distinction when comparing it with watches whose listed thickness may exclude the crystal.

The dial is specified as matte black with cream and yellow Super-LumiNova details and a yellow GMT hand. This contrast gives the GMT hand a clear visual distinction in the manufacturer’s design, though the available sources do not establish an independent legibility test or measured lume performance.

Water resistance: what does 200 m mean here?
Nezumi rates the watch at 20 ATM, equivalent to 200 m or 660 ft. This is the manufacturer’s stated rating, not evidence that the AA3.102 was independently tested underwater. A screw-down crown is specified, but the rating should not be treated as a report of personal dive testing.

Weppelink’s report describes configurations with the Colin 2.2 bracelet, Hunt leather strap, Juno canvas strap, and Malta FKM rubber strap. He notes that the bracelet has toolless micro-adjustment. Configurations and inventory may change, so check the official product listing for what is currently offered.
The stated 20 mm lug width is a useful starting point when shopping for a replacement strap, but width alone does not guarantee fit. Check the strap’s end shape and attachment details against the watch’s lugs and spring-bar arrangement before ordering.

Fratello reported these AA3.102 prices on July 7, 2025. They excluded VAT, duties, and import taxes, and should be treated as historical rather than current prices.

At the time the official AA3.102 page was checked, it showed a “JOIN WAITLIST” button, and Nezumi’s collection page listed the AA3.102 and AA3.302 as sold out. Stock status can change; verify it directly with Nezumi’s AA3.102 listing and its All Watches collection. The product page states a two-year warranty and worldwide shipping; it also says non-EU orders are delivered DDU, so destination taxes and import charges may apply. Confirm current terms and landed cost for your destination before purchase.
Who should consider the Aviera GMT?
The AA3.102 is a plausible option for someone seeking a mechanical traveler GMT with a moderate 40 mm diameter, a 47 mm lug-to-lug measurement, several reported strap configurations, and a manufacturer-stated 200 m rating. The 13.3 mm total thickness is worth considering alongside those dimensions, particularly if you prefer a thin watch or have a close-fitting cuff.
The strongest positive wearing comment available is Weppelink’s brief impression of improved refinement and comfort over the preceding generation; readers should weigh that as a short hands-on opinion, not proof of all-day comfort for every wrist. The available sources do not provide a like-for-like comparison against named competing traveler GMTs, independent laboratory results, or a verified current price, so a model ranking or value verdict against specific alternatives would go beyond the evidence.
