The Orient CFD0C001B, also known as the Pro Saturation, is a large automatic diver that Orient described as water-resistant to 300m. The manufacturer’s published specifications include a 45.4mm stainless-steel case, caliber 40N5A and a 40-hour power reserve. Those details come from Orient Watch USA’s article dated May 24, 2012—not a current product listing or independent test—so treat the watch’s present price, condition and availability as separate questions.
Orient CFD0C001B specifications

Orient’s source does not state lug width, lug-to-lug length, weight, an accuracy range, a service interval or specific certification details. In particular, the Pro Saturation name and 300m rating do not by themselves establish a certification or a particular helium-management feature.
How large is the Pro Saturation?
At 45.4mm across and 16.6mm thick in Orient’s 2012 figures, the CFD0C001B has a substantial case. Check those dimensions against a watch you already find comfortable, and consider how the case sits beneath a sleeve or over a dive suit. No lug-to-lug measurement is provided in the cited model article, so diameter alone cannot tell you how broadly it will span your wrist.

- Stainless Steel case with Black Resin Band
- Black Dial with date window at 3 O'clock
- Luminous markers and hour hands; sweep second hand
- Anti-reverse bezel
- Water-resistant to 200 M (660 feet)
A verified aBlogtoWatch video result dated June 16, 2009 identifies Ariel Adams as the reviewer and describes the watch as 46mm wide. That is close to Orient’s later 45.4mm figure; the reason for the difference is not established. The result identifies a review, but does not establish any particular test result or observation to attribute to it.
What Orient’s 300m claim does—and does not—tell you
Orient reported 300m water resistance and called the model a Pro Saturation. The source does not provide certification details or establish the presence of a specific helium escape valve or other helium-management system. Do not infer either from the name alone. If you need a watch for a defined diving use, verify the exact specification and condition of the individual watch with the seller or a qualified watch professional rather than treating a historical rating as a current condition report.

- DIVER-INSPIRED DESIGN — Inspired by the sea, the MDV-106G is styled after classic dive watches and delivers 200-meter water resistance at an unbeatable price point. The black resin band and stainless steel case give it a classic look, while the anti-reverse rotary bezel adds authentic dive-watch character.
- STAINLESS STEEL CASE WITH SCREW-LOCK CROWN & CASEBACK — The MDV-106G features a stainless steel case and a reliable screw-lock crown for enhanced water resistance protection. Screw-down crown and screw-lock caseback work together to keep the movement sealed and secure during water activities — a construction standard found on dive watches far above this price range.
- LARGE FLUORESCENT HANDS & INDICES FOR INSTANT READABILITY — The dial features hands and hour indices with large fluorescent areas for easy reading in low-light and underwater conditions. The clean 3-hand analog layout with date display at 3 o'clock keeps the dial uncluttered and immediately legible at a glance.
- 44MM STAINLESS STEEL CASE | 22MM LUG WIDTH | MINERAL GLASS — The case measures 44mm in diameter, 12mm in height, with a 49mm lug-to-lug length and a standard 22mm lug width — making strap upgrades effortless with a vast range of aftermarket options. Mineral glass protects the dial from everyday scratches and impacts.
- 3-YEAR BATTERY & 200M WATER RESISTANCE — Powered by an SR626SW battery with an approximate 3-year life, the case measures 49.5 × 46.3 × 12.1mm and weighs 92 grams. At 200 meters of water resistance, the Duro is versatile and suitable for all situations — whether in the water, hiking, running, or at the office.
Movement and everyday features
Orient identified the movement as caliber 40N5A, describing it as mechanical, self-winding and hackable. Hacking stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled into the time-setting position, which can help with precise synchronization. Orient also reported a 40-hour power reserve and an indicator, plus a date display, luminous hands and hour markers, and a screw-down crown.
These are specification claims, not a timekeeping assessment. The cited source gives no accuracy range or service history for any particular example, and an older watch’s actual running condition depends on its maintenance and present state.

How it compares with the Orient SEL06001H M-Force 2012
Orient’s article compared the CFD0C001B with the SEL06001H M-Force 2012. The figures below are the manufacturer’s source-era claims, not a current buying or performance comparison.
| Specification | CFD0C001B Pro Saturation | SEL06001H M-Force 2012 |
|---|---|---|
| Water resistance | 300m | 200m |
| Case diameter | 45.4mm | 47mm |
| Case thickness | 16.6mm | 13.3mm |
| Movement | Caliber 40N5A | Caliber 40N5A |
| Power reserve and indicator | 40 hours; indicator | 40 hours; indicator |
| Price in Orient’s 2012 article | $2,150 | Not stated in the retrieved article details |
The documented distinction is not simply that one watch is “bigger”: the M-Force is wider, while the Pro Saturation is thicker and has the higher reported water-resistance rating. The historical price should not be used to claim that either is now cheaper or better value.

What to check before buying a used CFD0C001B
The $2,150 figure is the retail price Orient listed in 2012, not a current MSRP or resale estimate. A Chrono24 result for a private-seller CFD0C001B listing shows that resale listings may appear, but a single listing does not establish current market value or availability: view the surfaced Chrono24 listing.
Assess the specific watch and seller rather than relying on the old retail figure. Ask for clear photographs, confirm the reference and what is included, and review documentation of service or repairs. Check the seller’s return terms and buyer protections, and compare the asking price with other current listings for watches in comparable condition.

Orient’s cited article does not give a lug width, so it is not enough to confirm strap compatibility. Verify the measurement on the watch or with a reliable seller before ordering a replacement strap. The source likewise does not identify replacement-part availability.
