The Nivada Grenchen Numerals Date Depthmaster listed by Time+Tide as reference 14106A, suffix 14106A01, is described there as a black-dial 1,000 m automatic diver. But the manufacturer page now reached through a legacy 14106A01 URL shows a green-dial Numerals Depthmaster under a different SKU, 14103A17. The reference and dial color are therefore not conclusively matched across the listings; check the exact suffix and the seller’s photographs and documentation before buying.
What is the Numerals Date Depthmaster 14106A?
Time+Tide lists “Nivada Grenchen Numerals Date – Depthmaster 14106A,” identifies the suffix as 14106A01, and describes a black dial. Its indexed listing showed the watch out of stock; availability can change, so check the seller’s live listing.
The manufacturer’s legacy product URL ending in depthmaster-14106a01 currently leads to a page headed “Depthmaster Numerals – Green.” The product header shows SKU 14103A17, while the detailed feature section describes a matte green dial. The same page’s generic introduction says black dial. These details do not establish that the dealer’s 14106A01 black-dial listing and the manufacturer’s current green-dial page represent the same exact variant. What to verify before purchase
- Ask the seller to confirm the full reference suffix on the watch or its documentation, not just the model-family name.
- Compare the dial in the seller’s actual photographs with the written description; the manufacturer page contains both black- and green-dial language.

The dealer listing separately describes a 39 mm automatic model with sapphire glass, 20 mm lug width, and 1,000 m water resistance.

Depthmaster history
Nivada Grenchen’s retrospective timeline dates the Depthmaster to 1965 and says it was rated to 1,000 meters (3,000 feet). The brand places it after the Depthomatic, which it dates to 1964 and describes as an automatic dive watch rated to 200 meters. The company says the Depthmaster collection returned in 2021.
