What is the Manime La Fidèle?
La Fidèle is an automatic watch from Manime, presented by the brand as a vintage-inspired sport-chic design. The case is 38 mm across, with a 42.2 mm lug-to-lug length and 11.25 mm thickness, figures published by Manime rather than independent measurements. The watch has a screw-down crown and an integrated-style bracelet; the official page lists several dial colors, including champagne, copper, khaki, anthracite and military, though variant names and counts are not consistent across the page.

Movement, date and daily operation
The listed movement depends on the version: Manime specifies a Miyota 9039 or a 9015 with date. Check the selected variant’s product details if the date function matters to you.
Start and wind the watch
- Unscrew the crown.
- Wind the watch by turning the crown 15 to 20 times to start it, as directed by Manime’s instruction manual.
Set the date and secure the crown
- Do not change the date between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m., according to the manual.
- Before exposing the watch to water, return the crown to its proper position and screw it fully down. Manime states that water resistance is guaranteed only when the crown is correctly positioned.
The 200 m figure is the manufacturer’s stated rating; it does not, by itself, establish suitability for every kind of swimming, diving or other water use.

Bracelets and fit
Manime sells leather and recycled-fabric straps listed as compatible with La Fidèle and La Méridienne. The bracelet page showed a price of €50 per strap when consulted; check the current strap listing for live pricing and availability. The product page says the watch box includes a screwdriver for bracelet adjustment and a microfiber cloth.
For a third-party strap, do not assume compatibility from appearance alone: confirm the attachment, width and buckle dimensions before ordering. The supplied information does not establish compatibility for any particular third-party bracelet.

Price and availability
Manime’s French product page displayed La Fidèle at €550 and described it as a final series with no restock planned. At the same time, the page showed conflicting stock messages, including an out-of-stock notice and an indication that one example remained. Availability can therefore change, and the page does not support a reliable claim that any specific color is currently purchasable. Verify the selected variant directly with Manime.
What the Kickstarter history does—and does not—show
The project’s Kickstarter campaign ran from September 26 to October 26, 2023. Kickstarter records €19,532 raised toward a €10,000 goal from 47 backers; its page notes an update on August 6, 2024. Those campaign figures describe crowdfunding, not total sales, long-term reliability or owner satisfaction. They are not a substitute for independent accuracy testing or a representative customer study.

How to assess La Fidèle against an integrated-bracelet alternative
The Tissot PRX has been mentioned as an alternative in an individual 2023 discussion on Forum à Montres. That conversation is not an independent model-to-model test, and the available information does not establish that La Fidèle is superior or equivalent to the PRX.
