The NORQAIN Adventure NEVEREST Night Sight is a distinctive 40mm dive-style watch whose sand-colored dial glows green in the dark. Its black DLC-coated steel case, 200m water resistance and COSC-certified automatic movement make it more than a lume experiment. The caveat: the hands-on reviews available for this assessment date to 2021, so they cannot establish today’s price, stock or production status.
What is the NORQAIN NEVEREST Night Sight?
Introduced in 2021, the Adventure NEVEREST Night Sight is a three-hand watch with a 40mm stainless-steel case coated in black DLC. Its sand-colored dial looks comparatively restrained in daylight, then glows green in darkness. Black applied numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 add contrast to the unusual dial treatment. The reference reported in coverage is NNB1001BBWA/IL107.
The bidirectional bezel carries compass markings, while the screw-down crown and reported 200m water resistance give the watch practical sports-watch credentials. Time+Tide describes using the bezel as a simple orientation aid; it is not a replacement for a dedicated navigation instrument.
How it wears: dimensions and strap choices
The 40mm diameter and 48.3mm lug-to-lug measurement provide a useful starting point when assessing fit. Published thickness is inconsistent: Fratello lists 12.55mm, while Time+Tide and launch coverage list 13.25mm. Because the discrepancy is unresolved, check the exact configuration and on-wrist fit if thickness is important to you.

Coverage describes fabric and rubber strap options, and brand or retailer material also shows a DLC bracelet configuration. Fratello reviewer Lex Stolk praised the khaki fabric strap as “soft, easy to adjust, easy to put on, and flexible.” That is his assessment of the strap, not a guarantee that every variant will feel the same. Confirm the reference, included strap or bracelet, and fit before buying; the reported strap width is 20mm.

The NN20/1’s 70-hour reserve gives the watch more than a standard two-day interval between full winds, while COSC certification indicates that the movement was certified for chronometric performance. Published coverage disagrees on jewel count, so that figure is omitted rather than presented as settled.

What reviewers liked—and what may not appeal
Fratello’s Stolk gave the Night Sight a favorable verdict, especially for the way the full-lume dial combines nighttime legibility with a striking visual effect. That is the watch’s clearest point of distinction: the dial itself becomes the feature, rather than relying only on luminous hands and markers.
The design is not universally subtle. Launch coverage recorded a more reserved first impression, with the bold numeral styling not winning over every reviewer. In daylight the sand tone is comparatively muted, but the dial’s unusual treatment and the black case still make this a more conspicuous choice than a conventional dark-dial diver.

Price, availability and charitable association
Prices reported at launch in 2021 were CHF 3,290–3,310 and US$3,490–3,510, depending on configuration, according to Time and Watches. Revolution reported SGD 5,180 for fabric or rubber versions and SGD 5,680 for a bracelet version. These are historical launch-era prices, not current quotes.
NORQAIN’s currently surfaced NEVEREST collection page lists GMT Glacier models rather than the Night Sight. That alone does not establish that the Night Sight has been discontinued. WatchTime reported availability through authorized dealers and NORQAIN in 2021; current stock and production status need confirmation with the brand or a retailer.

Who should consider the Night Sight?
- Consider it if you want a highly legible, unconventional lume display, a 40mm case, a 70-hour automatic movement and 200m water resistance.
- Try it on first if you are sensitive to thickness or want a low-profile watch; published thickness figures differ by 0.7mm.
- Check alternatives carefully if your shortlist includes the Longines HydroConquest Ceramic, TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Night Diver or Tudor Black Bay Ceramic. Available coverage names these as competitors but does not provide a consistent, current basis for ranking them.
