How do the cases compare for fit?
Wild ONE Skeleton 39
The Sky Blue product page lists a 39.00 mm diameter, 11.75 mm thickness, 20.00 mm lug width and 45.75 mm lug-to-lug measurement. Those figures make it the smaller-diameter option on paper, but wrist fit also depends on wrist shape, how the case sits and the strap. If possible, try the watch on rather than relying on diameter alone.
NORQAIN describes this version as a NORTEQ® carbon-fibre model and states that it weighs 64 g, claiming it is 50% lighter than a stainless-steel NORQAIN watch. Those are the brand’s stated figures and comparison, not independently measured results here.

Independence Skeleton Chrono
The Independence Skeleton Chrono has a 42 mm case and is offered in steel or titanium. The cited listing does not establish its thickness or lug-to-lug measurement, so do not infer those dimensions from the diameter. A larger case may suit someone who wants more wrist presence, but trying the exact material and strap configuration is the reliable way to judge comfort.
What does the chronograph add?
The Wild ONE Skeleton 39 Sky Blue is a time-only watch. The Independence Skeleton Chrono adds stopwatch timing: its automatic NK24/1 movement is a flyback chronograph with a column wheel. NORQAIN says the flyback function lets the wearer reset and restart the chronograph with one button press, avoiding the usual separate stop-reset-restart sequence.

The Independence’s dial has a small-seconds counter at 6 o’clock and a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock. Choose it if you expect to time events or value the chronograph mechanism; if you do not need that function, the Wild ONE’s simpler time-only layout may be a better match.
Movement, reserve and water resistance
NORQAIN lists both movements at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and describes both watches as COSC-certified chronometers. The Wild ONE’s N08S has 26 jewels and a stated 41-hour reserve. The Independence’s NK24/1 has 31 jewels, bi-directional winding and a stated 62-hour reserve. The reserve figures are manufacturer specifications, not guarantees of a particular real-world running time.

NORQAIN rates the Sky Blue Wild ONE Skeleton 39 to 200 m water resistance and the steel Independence Skeleton Chrono to 100 m in its comparison. These are manufacturer ratings, not results from independent water testing. Follow the manufacturer’s use and care guidance, and have seals checked as appropriate before exposing either watch to water.
Straps and configuration details
The Wild ONE Sky Blue page describes an integrated strap and lists a black NORTEQ pin buckle or a black DLC titanium folding clasp with quick adjustment. Because the strap is integrated, do not assume a standard replacement band will fit.

For the Independence Chrono, NORQAIN lists black or orange Milanese rubber and steel strap options for steel variants, and a purple Milanese rubber option for the titanium model. Its additional-strap listing shows a 22 mm black Milanese rubber strap at CHF 310 and a steel strap at CHF 480. The brand says its additional straps are engineered for the case; a stated 22 mm width alone does not establish that a generic band, end connection or clasp will fit. Confirm the exact reference and compatibility with NORQAIN or an authorized dealer before ordering.
