The 2014 titanium Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial pairs vintage-inspired, no-date styling with a light-wearing titanium case and a 15,000-gauss-resistant calibre 8400. In Brice Goulard’s review, based on wearing a blue-dial example through a summer of swimming, diving, sailing and beach use, the strongest practical appeal is comfort from its reduced weight; the main reservations are the thick-feeling case and bracelet and a polished centre link that may not suit everyone.
Which Seamaster 300 is this?
This is the vintage-inspired Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial introduced in 2014, not the Seamaster Diver 300M and not a later Seamaster 300 generation. Brice Goulard’s review identifies the titanium blue-dial version as reference 233.90.41.21.03.001. He places its design in conversation with Omega’s 1957 CK2913, while treating the 2014 watch as a modern reinterpretation rather than a reproduction. Its straight lugs, broad-arrow hour hand, triangular markers and no-date dial carry the vintage cues.
The review’s photographs show the specific blue-dial titanium watch Goulard wore; his account is an individual reviewer’s experience, not a controlled test. WatchTime and Hodinkee also covered the 2014 family, but their cited observations concern steel examples and should not be mistaken for impressions of this titanium watch.

How it looks and wears
Vintage cues with a modern dial
Goulard points to the broad-arrow hand, triangular markers and straight lugs as links to the CK2913-era design language. He describes the dial markers as recessed, laser-cut cavities filled with luminous material—not a sandwich dial—and the aged-looking luminous color as deliberate faux patina. The blue dial and ceramic bezel give this version a more contemporary color scheme than a strict period-style recreation.
Titanium comfort, with a substantial profile
Goulard’s main comfort finding was that the titanium watch felt light on the wrist. He estimated it was close to 30% lighter than steel, but did not publish sample weights or a measurement method; treat that percentage as his reported comparison, not a verified mass measurement. He also found the case and bracelet thick-feeling. Grade 5 titanium, he notes, allows polished surfaces, and the bracelet’s polished centre link is a visible contrast that may appeal to some owners and bother others.

Performance in the reviewer’s summer use
Goulard says he wore his sample through summer activities that included swimming, diving, sailing and beach use. He praised its legibility, finishing and the positive action of the bezel. These are his reported impressions from that titanium watch, not independent water-resistance or durability test results. Hodinkee’s separate steel-sample account discusses bezel grip with gloves and clasp extension over a thick wetsuit; those observations do not establish how the titanium bracelet behaved in the same conditions.
Calibre 8400: resistance and time-zone adjustment
Monochrome-Watches identifies the automatic calibre 8400, with a Co-Axial escapement, a 60-hour reserve and resistance up to 15,000 gauss. The article also recounts the METAS certification program as it was announced in 2014. That historical discussion should not be read as confirmation of the certification status of every individual watch or serial number.

- Omega Seamaster Automatic Chronometer Black Dial Men's Watch 210.30.42.20.01.001
Hodinkee’s coverage of the 2014 Seamaster 300 family describes a free-sprung balance, two barrels and chronometer certification. It also explains a useful travel function: the hour hand can be advanced or moved back in one-hour steps without stopping the watch or shifting the minute hand. This movement-function description comes from Hodinkee’s family coverage, not a separate test of Goulard’s titanium sample.
Bracelet or NATO strap?
The original titanium bracelet is 21 mm wide according to Goulard’s review. He also tried the watch on a NATO strap and reported that it changed the look. A 21 mm nylon strap is therefore a plausible alternative, but fit is not guaranteed simply by choosing a NATO style: verify the strap’s width and that the spring bars are suitable for the watch. Goulard cautions that common NATO straps may be 20 mm, while WatchTime’s 21 mm lug-width listing applies to the related steel reference.

What did the titanium Seamaster 300 cost?
In the 16 December 2014 review, Goulard quoted €6,750 for the titanium version and €4,950 for steel. These are publication-era European prices, not current retail or second-hand values. He compared the steel model with a €6,000 Rolex Submariner no-date at the time and argued that the Omega offered a technical-package advantage at those historical prices, while acknowledging that design preference is personal. Neither that comparison nor those amounts establish which watch is the better buy today; current availability, condition and market prices are not established here.

Who is this titanium version for?
- Consider it if you want the 2014 Seamaster 300’s vintage-inspired, no-date design, value a lighter-feeling titanium watch and find the blue dial and ceramic bezel appealing.
- Look closely at the fit if you are sensitive to a thick case-and-bracelet profile or dislike polished centre links. Goulard praised the low weight but flagged both details as possible drawbacks.
- Check the exact reference when researching listings: 233.90.41.21.03.001 identifies the reviewed blue-dial titanium version. Do not assume a listing for the steel model or a later Seamaster 300 has the same material, color, movement or condition.
- Confirm price and condition independently before buying. The review’s 2014 prices cannot be used as a current valuation.
