OMEGA identifies this edition as the Seamaster Diver 300M 42 mm in Canopus Gold. It was launched in 2022 to mark 60 years of James Bond on screen. The reference is 210.55.42.20.99.001. It is a specific precious-metal execution, not simply another name for the stainless steel 60th-anniversary Seamaster.
OMEGA describes Canopus Gold as its 18K white-gold alloy, with platinum, rhodium and palladium in its composition. The brand says it has used the alloy since 2015. The case and mesh bracelet are both Canopus Gold.
Dial, bezel and Bond references
Grey silicon dial and diamond bezel
The natural grey silicon dial is described by OMEGA as evoking sand at Bond’s Caribbean hideaway. The unidirectional rotating bezel is set with shaded green and yellow treated diamonds, with two diamonds at 12 o’clock. OMEGA relates the colors to Bond’s Caribbean setting; the official James Bond site connects the green-and-yellow bezel to Jamaica and the Canopus Gold version to Ian Fleming’s Jamaican home and Dr. No, Bond’s first adventure.

Animated sapphire caseback
A sapphire display on the caseback uses micro-structured metallisation to create a moiré effect depicting the movie-opening sequence, Bond’s silhouette and the spinning gun barrel. OMEGA says the animation is linked to the lollipop seconds hand. The presentation also includes a mango-tree box with mother-of-pearl marquetry and a 60 Years of Bond logo, according to the brand.
How it differs from the stainless steel anniversary edition
The official James Bond site describes two commemorative versions. Their common anniversary purpose does not make them interchangeable: material, visual treatment and film references differ.
