The white-dial Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer reviewed here is the steel-bracelet model, reference 210.30.42.20.04.001. It pairs a 42 mm steel case with a white ceramic wave dial, black ceramic bezel, automatic Calibre 8800 and 300-metre water resistance. A rubber-strap version looks similar but has a different reference, 210.32.42.20.04.001; it is not the same configuration.
What is the white-dial Seamaster Diver 300M?
It is a modern, 42 mm stainless-steel automatic diver built around a high-contrast white-and-black design. The dial is polished white ceramic with laser-engraved waves, a red Seamaster wordmark and a red tip on the seconds hand. A black ceramic bezel ring carries a white enamel diving scale. Hours, minutes, seconds and date are displayed beneath a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal; the back is also sapphire, showing the movement.
The bracelet reference is 210.30.42.20.04.001. The closely related white-dial rubber-strap model is 210.32.42.20.04.001. The strap and reference are meaningful distinctions when checking a listing, price, warranty or included clasp; do not assume an aftermarket strap will fit without confirming the attachment and end-link compatibility.

How it wears and what reviewers say
The key practical question is fit, not the nominal 42 mm diameter alone. The cited lug-to-lug measurements are approximately 49.4–49.9 mm, and the case is about 13.45–13.6 mm thick. Those dimensions can feel substantial, especially on a smaller wrist; if possible, try it on rather than judging by diameter in isolation. The Watch Observer reviewer also listed the watch’s weight and the move from the prior 41 mm size to 42 mm as drawbacks for some buyers.

#1 Best Overall
- Model 212.30.44.52.01.001
The white ceramic dial and black bezel are the visual signature. Monochrome reviewer Rebecca Doulton called the pairing “Sporty yet elegant, the white ceramic dial and black bezel is a combination that you won’t grow tired of.” Monochrome Watches, 19 November 2019 The Watch Observer’s 2019 review praised the dial, bracelet, execution, precision and everyday versatility. These are reviewers’ assessments, rather than independent test results reported here.
The Watch Observer describes the lume as bicolour: green on the minute hand and bezel pip, and blue on the hour and seconds hands and dial markers. It also notes the bracelet extension for wearing over a wetsuit. The Watch Observer
Rank #2
- Model 210.30.42.20.04.001
Reasons to consider it
- The ceramic dial and bezel give it a distinctive, crisp contrast while retaining the familiar wave-dial Seamaster look.
- Its 300-metre rating and diver extension suit water-oriented use, while the date and steel bracelet make it practical as an everyday watch.
- The display back exposes Calibre 8800, an appealing detail for owners who like to see the movement.
Trade-offs to weigh
- The 42 mm diameter, nearly 50 mm lug-to-lug reach and reported weight may be too much for some wrists.
- The display back adds visual interest, though The Watch Observer questioned its necessity on a watch designed for water use.
- The steel-bracelet configuration is not interchangeable in identity or price with the rubber-strap reference; check the exact reference on the offer.
