Its warm-toned Bronze Gold case, silver dial and small-seconds display reinterpret a 1939 Omega design. Omega lists a 72-hour power reserve and 30 m water-resistance rating; the watch was reported as non-limited at launch.
What is the Omega Paris 2024 Bronze Gold Edition?
Reference 522.92.39.21.99.001 is a vintage-style Omega Specialities model commemorating Paris 2024. Omega describes its combination of gold, silver and bronze tones as a tribute to the three medals of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The design draws on a classic Omega wristwatch from 1939, identified in launch coverage as the CK 859.
The small-seconds layout and silver dial recall that earlier watch, while the caseback links the new model directly to the event: it has a medallion with a polished Paris 2024 logo and Olympic rings. Omega engraves “BG 859” on the caseback; Fratello connects “BG” with Bronze Gold and the number with the historical CK 859 design.
Omega’s official product page provides the model’s specifications and material description. Fratello’s July 24, 2024 launch coverage identifies it as non-limited. A commemorative connection to the Games does not, by itself, make this a limited edition.

Materials: what Omega means by Bronze Gold
Bronze Gold is Omega’s named alloy, not ordinary bronze. Omega says it contains 37.5% gold, with palladium and silver among its other noble elements. The manufacturer also describes the alloy as designed to resist corrosion and verdigris and to be suitable for skin contact.
The warm case contrasts with an Ag 925 silver dial, whose center has a Clous de Paris pattern. The dial includes small seconds at 6 o’clock. The hands are 18K Sedna Gold with a PVD Bronze Gold coating, rather than solid Bronze Gold hands.

Price and availability
Price depends on market and date. Fratello reported a €13,300 launch price in its July 24, 2024 article. Omega’s US product page showed $14,300 in the version accessed in 2026, but that page snapshot had crawl metadata seven months old. Neither figure should be treated as a guaranteed current price across markets. Check Omega or an authorized retailer for a current local quote.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who should consider this watch?
The model is most relevant to someone who wants an Omega with a clear historical and Olympic connection, a precious-metal-containing case alloy, and a traditional hand-wound movement. Its 39 mm diameter is only one part of fit: the 46.20 mm lug-to-lug measurement and 11.70 mm thickness are also useful when comparing it with a watch that already wears comfortably. The strap is 20 mm wide at the lugs.
For a buyer comparing the case material, the key distinction is that Bronze Gold is Omega’s proprietary alloy with stated gold content, not solid gold and not conventional bronze. For a buyer comparing availability, the launch coverage calls the model non-limited; that does not guarantee that a particular retailer has stock.
