The Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X-33, reference 318.90.45.79.01.001, is a discontinued analog-digital quartz watch built around time-zone and mission-timing functions. Omega lists a 45 mm titanium case, calibre 5619, and functions including MET and PET. There is no verified current resale price in the available official information, so buyers should treat any asking price as specific to a dated listing and its condition.
What is the Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X-33?
The Skywalker X-33 is a professional-style tool watch that combines conventional hands with an LCD rather than following the mechanical format associated with many Speedmaster models. It was presented in December 2014; that release history should not be confused with present-day availability. Omega now marks reference 318.90.45.79.01.001 as discontinued.
Its aviation- and space-oriented design is described in a 2015 review by Monochrome-Watches. The review is historical; for current listed dimensions and technical specifications, Omega’s product page is the reference.

#1 Best Overall
- Model 310.32.42.50.01.001
Functions: time zones and mission timing
Omega lists three time zones, a chronograph, timer, three alarms, and perpetual calendar, alongside mission elapsed time (MET) and phase elapsed time (PET). The special functions were tested and certified by the European Space Agency (ESA), according to Omega’s model-history page.
MET and PET make the X-33 more than a conventional digital display added to an analog watch: they are dedicated elapsed-time functions for mission-oriented use. The official feature list is on Omega’s Skywalker X-33 model-history page.

How much does the X-33 Skywalker cost?
A current price cannot be stated reliably from Omega’s official information: the reference is discontinued, and Omega does not provide a resale price or live stock status there. A 2015 review is not a dependable guide to today’s pre-owned market.
For a specific listing, assess the asking price in context rather than treating it as a model-wide value. Record the listing date, seller, condition, included bracelet and other components, and service history; compare only listings with similar completeness and condition. Those details can materially affect what a buyer is actually paying for.
Rank #3
- Excellent condition - Minimal signs of wear consistent with pre-owned use.
- Wrist Size (in): 7.25, Case Height (mm): 14.00, Case Width (mm): 43.00
- This item is pre-owned and may show light signs of wear. Please refer to the condition and photos.
- Comes with a myGemma Certificate Of Authenticity.
Availability and what to check before buying
Because Omega labels this reference discontinued, a prospective buyer should expect to assess individual pre-owned listings rather than assume regular new-model availability. The sources cited here do not establish live stock or identify a current seller.
- Confirm the reference is 318.90.45.79.01.001, not another X-33 generation.
- Check that the listing describes the titanium bracelet and its completeness, and ask what accessories are included.
- Request service documentation and ask when the battery was last replaced.
- Have water resistance assessed by an approved Omega service centre if it matters to your intended use.
Water resistance and care
Omega rates the watch at 3 bar (30 m); that rating should not be treated as a promise that the watch is suitable for swimming. Omega’s operating guidance says water resistance can be affected by aging gaskets or accidental impact, and advises against operating the crown or chronograph pushers in water.
Rank #4
- Model 310.30.42.50.01.001
Omega recommends an annual water-resistance test at an approved Omega service centre. The guidance is available in Omega’s watch-use FAQ. Since the watch’s water resistance depends on its present condition, an old rating alone cannot establish the condition of a particular pre-owned example.
