Its calibre 5666 drives both the analog hands and LCD, combining timekeeping and chronograph functions with UTC, dual time zones, an alarm, a perpetual calendar and a flight log. Omega lists the titanium-bracelet version under reference 325.90.43.79.01.001 and marks it discontinued.
What is the Omega Z-33?
The Z-33 pairs analog hands with an LCD, with the crown at 3 o’clock used to adjust the hands and four pushers plus the crown controlling digital functions. Omega describes calibre 5666 as a temperature-compensated, multi-function quartz movement developed with professional pilots. The design is pilot-oriented; a 2012 watch-specialist article specifically connects its case shape to Omega’s 1969 Flightmaster, while Omega describes the case more generally as inspired by its pilot-line design.
Despite the Speedmaster name, this is not a conventional mechanical Speedmaster chronograph. It is a quartz ana-digital watch whose multiple digital functions extend well beyond a standard chronograph.
What functions does the Omega Z-33 have?
Omega lists the following functions for the Z-33:
- Date and perpetual calendar, including calendar memory for irregularities such as February 29 through February 28, 2100.
- UTC and two time zones.
- Alarm.
- Chronograph and countdown timer.
- Programmable pilot-oriented functions and a flight log that can record up to ten flights with date and time.
These are the functions Omega identifies for the watch; detailed button-by-button operating instructions are not included here.

Is the Omega Speedmaster Spacemaster Z-33 discontinued?
Omega’s Japan-market product page marks reference 325.90.43.79.01.001, the titanium-bracelet version, as discontinued. That status does not establish whether any individual retailer or second-hand seller has stock; availability depends on the seller and market. Treat a purchase as a pre-owned or seller-dependent prospect unless a seller confirms otherwise.
What is the difference between the Omega Z-33 strap versions?
Omega identifies three references with different supplied configurations:
Rank #3
- Model 304.33.44.52.03.001
| Reference | Configuration |
|---|---|
| 325.90.43.79.01.001 | Titanium bracelet |
| 325.92.43.79.01.001 | Rubber strap |
| 325.92.43.79.01.002 | Leather strap |
Check the complete reference against the listing and confirm which strap or bracelet is actually included. Although Omega lists a 21 mm lug width for the bracelet reference, that measurement alone does not establish compatibility with every aftermarket strap; end shape, attachment hardware and variant-specific fit can matter.
