The OPPO Watch X3 is no longer merely a teased flagship smartwatch. OPPO launched it in China on March 17, 2026, then announced international availability in April. The finished watch combines a titanium-alloy case and bezel, sapphire crystal, a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display, Wear OS 6 and a large battery. Its headline endurance is impressive on paper, but the most important buying question is regional support: the Watch X3 is not officially sold in the United States.
OPPO Watch X3 launch timeline
Early reports on March 6 described the Watch X3 as an upcoming flagship that would appear alongside the Find N6 in China. OPPO’s teasers confirmed the product and emphasized premium construction, durability and outdoor fitness, but they did not initially establish the final price, complete specifications or international availability. Gizmochina reported the teaser details.

Why the design looks premium
“Premium” is not just a marketing adjective here: OPPO specifies titanium alloy for both the case and bezel, plus a 2D sapphire-crystal cover. Sapphire is generally much more resistant to scratches than ordinary smartwatch glass, although the material specification alone does not prove superior impact resistance or guarantee durability in every use case.

The international model measures 47.4mm by 47.4mm and is approximately 11mm thick. Its body weighs about 43g without the strap. Those dimensions make it substantial rather than discreet, particularly on smaller wrists, but the weight is relatively restrained for a large metal watch. OPPO says the X3 is 13.4% lighter and 6.3% thinner than the Watch X2; those are OPPO’s own comparison figures.
The Misty Titanium version uses a 12-bevel design. International finishes include Misty Titanium and Obsidian Black. A crown-style physical control called Crown Navigator handles navigation: OPPO says it can open the main menu, launch the most recent app with a double tap and activate Gemini with a long press. The Dynamic-Link strap system uses FKM rubber and a metal clasp.

Battery life: five days, or 16 with restrictions
OPPO claims up to five days in Smart Mode, three days in a heavy-use Smart Mode test and 16 days in Power Saver Mode. It also says that 10 minutes of charging can provide up to one day of use, while a full charge takes approximately 75 minutes.
These are not universal real-world results. OPPO’s five-day test assumes conditions including always-on display disabled, an official watch face, defined Bluetooth and Wi-Fi use, sleep tracking, calls, music, outdoor running and a fixed notification pattern. The heavy-use scenario adds always-on display, third-party watch faces, more notifications, navigation, calls, music and exercise.
In practice, always-on display, frequent GPS workouts, navigation, LTE or eSIM use and third-party apps can reduce endurance. Power Saver Mode should also be understood as a different experience: it may limit Wear OS apps and smart functions in exchange for longer battery life. The official material does not establish independent standardized battery performance.
Wear OS 6 and smart features
The international announcement promotes Wear OS 6, giving the Watch X3 access to Google’s smartwatch platform. OPPO also lists Gemini support, Google Health Connect and Strava synchronization. A regional specification page mentions ColorOS Watch 8.0, so the exact software presentation, apps and services can vary by market.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe watch is designed primarily for Android users. Its use of Wear OS should not be taken as proof of full iPhone compatibility. Buyers should confirm phone requirements and Google-service availability for their country and exact model before importing one.

Health and fitness tracking
OPPO lists a broad collection of health and sports features, including:
- Sleep-stage tracking for deep, light, REM and awake periods.
- Sleep blood-oxygen and respiratory-rate monitoring.
- High- and low-heart-rate alerts and resting-heart-rate monitoring.
- Blood-oxygen monitoring, ECG Analyzer and fall detection.
- Wrist-temperature tracking, cycle tracking and sedentary reminders.
- Health Insights and a “60s Wellness Overview”.
- Sports modes for activities including skiing, running and tennis.
- Google Health Connect and Strava synchronization.
Feature availability can depend on country, software version and regulatory approval. ECG and other medical-adjacent functions are not necessarily enabled everywhere, and the watch should not be treated as a medical diagnostic device.
Chinese launch coverage additionally reported eSIM support and contactless hypertension recognition. Those claims should be attributed to the China-market model and must not automatically be applied to international versions. Chinese launch reporting from IT Home describes those regional features.
China price and international availability
Chinese launch coverage reported a starting price of ¥2,599 for Gravity Black. Infinite Titanium and Cosmic Star Orange were reported at ¥2,799. Government subsidies were also mentioned, but those are regional and should not be treated as standard retail pricing or converted directly into an international price.
International pricing was not established by the available material. OPPO has published regional pages for markets including the UK and Indonesia, but availability, bundles, colours, connectivity and health functions can differ by country.
What about the United States?
The Watch X3 is not an official U.S.-market product. Engadget reported in July 2026 that OPPO wearables, including the Watch X3, were not officially sold in the United States.
A gray-market import may therefore involve:
- No dependable U.S. warranty or authorized repair route.
- Unsupported LTE or eSIM activation.
- Region-locked health, payment or software features.
- Language and Google-service limitations.
- Limited access to compatible chargers, straps and replacement parts.
- Import taxes, duties and difficult returns.
For U.S. buyers who need predictable support, an officially sold Samsung Galaxy Watch or Google Pixel Watch is the safer purchase. OnePlus Watch products are another relevant Android comparison, but model-specific differences in battery, sensors and compatibility should be checked rather than assumed.

China and international models are not interchangeable
The Chinese and international Watch X3 versions may share the same broad design while differing in important ways. Do not assume that a China-market watch has the international software, Google services, eSIM support, payment systems, colours or health functions you need.

Should you buy the OPPO Watch X3?
It makes sense if you are an Android user in an officially supported market
The combination of titanium, sapphire crystal, a bright LTPO AMOLED display, Wear OS 6 and a large battery makes the X3 a credible premium option. It is especially appealing if you want Google smartwatch features without necessarily charging every night.
It is interesting for outdoor and endurance users
OPPO’s sports modes, durability claims, sunlight-focused brightness modes and multi-day battery targets suit runners and outdoor users. Frequent GPS, navigation and cellular use can still cut battery life, so the five-day figure should not be treated as an endurance guarantee.

Think carefully if you have a small wrist or track sleep
The 47.4mm case and 11mm thickness may feel bulky, despite the approximately 43g body weight. OPPO lists a 140–210mm wrist range, but fit and overnight comfort are personal. The battery helps with sleep tracking, yet a large case can be less comfortable in bed or under a shirt cuff.
Do not buy it primarily for a medical function
Confirm that the specific health feature is approved and enabled in your country. ECG, blood-oxygen and hypertension-related features should supplement—not replace—professional medical advice or validated medical equipment.
Verdict
The OPPO Watch X3 is a substantially more interesting product than the early teaser coverage could prove. Its titanium-alloy construction, sapphire crystal, dual-chip architecture, Wear OS 6 software and claimed five-day Smart Mode battery life give it genuine premium-watch appeal. The 16-day figure belongs to Power Saver Mode, and all battery numbers are OPPO estimates under defined test conditions.
The buying decision is ultimately regional. In an officially supported market, the X3 deserves comparison with Samsung, Google and OnePlus alternatives. In the United States, the lack of official sales makes warranty, eSIM, payment, health-feature and return risks more important than the attractive hardware. Import only if you have verified those limitations and are comfortable accepting them.
