The exact reference matters: the black-dial steel-bracelet version was listed at USD 4,700 on Oris’s US site, while the silver-and-ocean-green dial on leather was listed at USD 4,500. What the Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph is
This is a chronograph within Oris’s Divers Sixty-Five line, styled with 1960s-inspired details. Its design includes pump-style pushers, a unidirectional rotating bezel and two subdials. Oris describes the ocean-green and silver version as neo-vintage; that description is the manufacturer’s, rather than an independent assessment of its appearance.
The 40 mm stainless-steel case and 10 bar water-resistance rating are the principal dimensions and rating Oris gives for the cited configurations. The rating is a stated specification, not a guarantee that the watch suits every diving activity. Follow Oris’s guidance on use and maintenance.

How to interpret the case thickness
Fratello’s 2023 launch coverage reports an overall height of 15.4 mm with the domed sapphire crystal included. It corrected an earlier 12.97 mm figure, which excluded that crystal. These figures therefore describe different measurement boundaries rather than a straightforward disagreement about the same total height. For a comparison with another watch, check whether its quoted thickness includes the crystal.
Fratello also notes that the chronograph case was reduced from 43 mm in earlier editions to 40 mm. Its article covers the 2023 launch, so its launch-era prices and options should not be treated as current pricing. The report is available at Fratello’s launch coverage.

Choosing a dial and strap or bracelet
Black dial on bracelet
Reference 01 771 7791 4054-07 8 20 18 is the black-dial stainless-steel-bracelet version. It had the highest displayed price among the cited US configurations, at USD 4,700. Match the complete reference when checking a listing; the black dial is also offered on leather under a different reference.
Silver and ocean-green dial on leather
Reference 01 771 7791 4051-07 6 20 01 combines a silver sunray dial with ocean-green detailing and a leather strap. Oris’s product description highlights the dial detailing and pump pushers, and identifies the movement as an automatic chronograph with a 62-hour reserve. This is manufacturer copy, not an independent wear or performance review.

Black dial on leather
Reference 01 771 7791 4054-07 6 20 01 was listed at USD 4,500 on the inspected US page. Do not confuse it with the black-dial bracelet reference, which was listed at USD 4,700.
The cited versions have a 20 mm interhorn width. Oris lists leather and textile fitting straps, as well as a 20 mm stainless-steel bracelet for the silver-and-ocean-green listing. If buying another strap, verify attachment and clasp compatibility as well as width; a 20 mm measurement alone does not establish that every strap will fit correctly.

What this review can and cannot establish
The official listings establish the cited versions’ specifications and displayed US prices. Fratello’s launch coverage supplies the crystal-inclusive height context and notes the move from 43 mm to 40 mm. Oracle of Time’s July 2025 coverage of the Ocean Green version also reports a 40 × 15.4 mm case, 100 m/10 bar water resistance, green bezel insert and counters, and strap or bracelet options; its British and Swiss launch-era prices are not current US price evidence. See Oracle of Time’s Ocean Green coverage.
These sources do not establish how the watch wears on a particular wrist, its measured accuracy, real-world chronograph performance or current inventory across retailers. Those questions require direct inspection or current retailer confirmation; specifications alone cannot answer them.
