The Piaget Polo Date Black Automatic 42 is reference G0A47014: a 42 mm stainless-steel watch with a black guilloché dial, interchangeable black rubber strap and Piaget’s self-winding 1110P movement. It was introduced in 2022, so “new” describes its launch-era coverage—not a 2026 release. Piaget’s official US product page does not display a price; dated reports put launch pricing at EUR 11,400, USD 11,600 and CHF 11,100, while a 2026 Australian review reports AUD 21,700.
Which Piaget Polo Date is reference G0A47014?
G0A47014 is the black-dial Polo Date on a black textured rubber strap. The model pairs the Polo’s cushion-shaped dial design with a round steel case. Piaget lists the strap as interchangeable and specifies a steel double folding buckle. The official description and specifications are on Piaget’s G0A47014 product page.
It is easy to confuse this configuration with the black-dial Polo Date reference G0A50016. That separate model has a steel bracelet and triple folding buckle, not the rubber strap and double folding buckle of G0A47014. Piaget lists the bracelet model at its G0A50016 product page.
| Reference | Strap or bracelet | Buckle | Case and water resistance |
|---|---|---|---|
| G0A47014 | Black interchangeable textured rubber strap | Steel double folding buckle | 42 mm steel case, 9.4 mm thick; 10 bar |
| G0A50016 | Steel bracelet | Triple folding buckle | 42 mm steel case, 9.4 mm thick; 10 bar |
Specifications in the table are from Piaget’s official product pages; the references are distinct configurations, not interchangeable descriptions of one watch.

Case, dial and display
Piaget specifies a 42 mm round stainless-steel case measuring 9.4 mm thick, with a sapphire crystal caseback. The black guilloché dial carries stylized hands and indexes coated with Super-LumiNova, according to the manufacturer. A red-tipped seconds hand bears a “P” signature.
The date appears in a framed window at 6 o’clock in Monochrome Watches’ 2022 launch-era hands-on report. Piaget’s product page lists hours and minutes in its movement-functions field, so the date-window placement is supported here by that published report rather than the manufacturer’s function-field wording.

Piaget 1110P movement: reserve and construction
Piaget identifies the movement as its self-winding manufacture calibre 1110P. The manufacturer lists a 50-hour power reserve, 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), 25 jewels and 180 components. It gives the movement’s diameter as 25.6 mm and thickness as 4 mm. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent timing or endurance test results.
Monochrome’s 2022 report describes the movement as displaying hours, minutes, central seconds and date, and notes a stop-seconds mechanism. It also describes circular graining, Geneva stripes, bevelling, sunburst wheels, blued screws and a decorated rotor. Those finish and mechanism details are the review’s account; they should not be taken as an independent guarantee of every production example.

Water resistance and everyday-use limits
Piaget rates G0A47014 to 10 bar (10 ATM). That is the published rating, not a report of a water test on an individual watch. The available specifications do not establish a particular activity recommendation or the condition of any used example; for use or maintenance guidance, consult Piaget or a qualified watch specialist.
