These watches are designed as wrist companions to the corresponding 911 GT3 cars. Porsche says each is available exclusively to buyers or owners of a 911 GT3 or a 911 GT3 with Touring Package, respectively. What the functions mean in use
The flyback chronograph is designed to let the wearer reset and restart the timing sequence in one operation, rather than stopping, resetting and starting separately. The pulsometer bezel option is intended to measure pulse mechanically; Porsche describes it as requiring neither a battery nor creating disturbing magnetic fields. The tachymeter and minute-scale options serve different timing tasks, but the technical sheet does not establish which scale accompanies each individual vehicle configuration.

Price, ordering and eligibility
Porsche Design announced a starting recommended retail price of €10,250 in 2024, with ordering through Porsche Centers and Porsche Design Stores worldwide. That is a dated starting RRP, not a guaranteed current price in every market or a confirmed quote for every configuration. Contact a local Porsche retailer for present pricing, order timing and available personalization.
The published eligibility condition is more restrictive than ordinary watch retail: the GT3 watch is for buyers or owners of the corresponding 911 GT3, while the Touring version is for buyers or owners of the 911 GT3 with Touring Package. Is it worth it?
On the published specifications, the strongest case for the watch is its unusually direct link to a specific car: vehicle-matched materials and color details, plus a rotor styled around the vehicle wheel, make the configuration more personal than a generic motorsport-themed watch. The shared package also includes a COSC-certified automatic flyback chronograph, titanium construction and a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
The trade-offs are equally specific. The €10,250 starting RRP announced in 2024 places it firmly in a luxury-watch purchase, and the owner-only condition means eligibility may matter more than the movement specification. Porsche’s published details do not establish independent timing performance, comfort on the wrist, finishing quality in hand or long-term ownership experience; those are not conclusions that can be drawn from the specification sheet. For an eligible GT3 owner who values the car-specific personalization, the concept is compelling. For someone mainly seeking a chronograph by technical value or wanting an independently assessed wearing experience, these published details alone are not enough to settle the purchase.
