Five editions were introduced, combining black or plasma ceramic with different dial treatments, accents and diamond details. This is a product and design overview based on Rado’s published material, not an independent wrist test.
What changed from the rubber-strap Anatom?
The defining change is the bracelet: polished high-tech ceramic links now match the bezel, giving the watch a continuous ceramic look from case to wrist. Rado presents the 2024 editions as the next step after the 2023 relaunch, which paired a black matte ceramic bezel with a textured rubber strap. The design draws on the original Anatom, which Rado dates to 1983. Rado’s 17 December 2024 announcement describes the new bracelet and collection history.
Rado specifies a 32.5 mm case width and a bracelet that tapers to 20 mm. Its design description highlights bevelled edges on the cylindrical sapphire crystal, bezel and links, with the case narrowing into the bracelet. These are the manufacturer’s published specifications and design details, not independent measurements. Rado’s release
Which five editions did Rado introduce?
The range includes three standard editions and two black-ceramic Jubilé versions. The differences are principally ceramic color, dial and link accents, and diamond decoration.

What movement and specifications does it have?
The modern automatic editions replace the original Anatom’s quartz movement with Rado’s R766 automatic calibre. Rado’s release gives it a 72-hour power reserve, an antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring and a date window at 6 o’clock. The collection page adds that the calibre has 21 jewels and is regulated in five positions. Rado press release; Rado collection page

As Rado puts it in its 17 December 2024 release: “Inside, it has an automatic mechanical movement – the Rado R766 calibre, with a 72-hour power reserve, an antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring and a date window at 6 o’clock – in place of the original’s quartz.” This is a statement from the company, not a named individual.
What does Rado say about the ceramic?
Rado says its high-tech ceramic starts as zirconium oxide powder. The material is formed using moulds and a carrier medium, then sintered; it shrinks during this stage and receives final machining. The manufacturer gives 1450°C as the sintering temperature and says the resulting case hardness is 1,250 on the Vickers scale. Those figures describe Rado’s process and stated performance; independent laboratory verification is not established by the cited material. Rado’s release

Rado characterizes its ceramic as light, smooth, scratch-resistant and quick to adapt to the wearer’s body temperature. These are manufacturer descriptions, not findings from an independent wear test. “Scratch-resistant” should not be read as scratch-proof, and the cited material does not establish that ceramic cannot chip or break.

Rado’s US page for reference R10202319 is a useful comparison for the rubber-strap Anatom, but it is not one of the ceramic-bracelet editions. The page reviewed listed a green-to-black dial and black rubber strap; its displayed $3,850 US price therefore is not a price for a ceramic-bracelet model. Rado US listing for R10202319

That listing gives the rubber-strap reference a 32.5 mm case, 11.3 mm thickness, 50 m water resistance and the R766 movement. Check the exact ceramic-bracelet reference, local market, price and availability with Rado or an authorized retailer before using those details to compare or buy; specifications and stock can vary by reference and region.
