REISER’s ALPEN Date is an automatic sports-watch collection with a textured dial, several color options, and a choice of leather strap or integrated steel bracelet. The collection’s launch unfolded in stages: Monochrome Watches reported orders opening on May 10, 2021, while WatchTested reported the collection debut on August 28, 2021. Those dates refer to different milestones, not a single launch date.
What the ALPEN Date is
REISER introduced the ALPEN Date as its first collection. The manufacturer describes it as the classic ALPEN version, with a straightforward three-hand display. Monochrome Watches’ 2021 launch coverage also identifies a date window at 3 o’clock.
WatchTested’s launch report described the dial as divided into twelve textured sections and the case as combining matte or brushed surfaces with polished details. It characterized the design as an integrated-bracelet-style sports watch, although the collection also includes leather configurations.
How the variants differ
REISER’s collection page lists ALPEN Date variants named black, emerald green, Pacific blue, and rose gold. Leather and bracelet configurations are represented in the listings. The collection page is a snapshot of what the manufacturer lists; it does not guarantee that a particular model is in stock.

- Dial color: The listed colors offer the clearest visual distinction. The launch report described three dial colors, while the manufacturer’s collection listing now includes the four names above.
- Strap or bracelet: Leather and integrated steel bracelet versions are available in the collection listings. Check the individual model page for the configuration actually offered.
- Case finish: Launch coverage described mixed matte/brushed and polished surfaces; Monochrome reported a gold-tone option alongside steel. Do not assume every finish is available with every dial or strap combination.
The manufacturer’s Rose Gold page describes a guilloche-patterned dial and a display caseback with a custom rose-gold rotor decorated with Geneva stripes. These details apply to that product page; they should not be assumed to describe every ALPEN Date variant.

Monochrome’s 2021 technical report gave the same case dimensions, water resistance, and movement figures, and identified the movement as a Seiko NH35A. It also described the date display at 3 o’clock. These are launch-era specifications; the current product-page details cited here do not enumerate every dial feature.

Launch timing and brand statements
Monochrome reported that orders opened May 10, 2021, with delivery then expected in late May or early June. WatchTested later described REISER as presenting the ALPEN Date as its first collection on August 28, 2021. The reports therefore describe an order-opening period followed by a later collection report.

Start with the look and wear format you prefer: dial color, case finish, and leather strap versus integrated bracelet. Then check the exact model page for the available combination and live stock. The evidence does not establish that choosing a particular color or strap changes movement performance.
