Its vivid color, 200 m manufacturer-rated water resistance and available FKM rubber strap make a convincing summer-watch case on paper. The trade-off is a substantial, attention-grabbing design: DOXA lists a 42 mm case, 46 mm length and 13.80 mm height, so fit and appetite for a bright dial matter as much as the specifications.
What is the yellow DOXA SUB 200 called?
DOXA calls the yellow version the SUB 200 Divingstar; the orange version is the Professional. DOXA’s launch material maps those names to their colors and also identifies Caribbean as navy, Aquamarine as turquoise, Searambler as silver and Sharkhunter as black. The UK product page identifies the Divingstar as reference/SKU 796.10.361.10. DOXA / Europa Star launch material; DOXA UK product page.
Does the Divingstar make sense as a summer watch?
Why it suits the season
The most immediate reason is the yellow color: it is a bold, high-visibility choice that can bring a distinctly summery accent to casual outfits. That is a styling judgment, not a claim about universal taste. DOXA also rates the watch to 200 m / 20 ATM and offers FKM rubber-strap configurations, including a yellow rubber strap for the SUB 200. Those specifications make it a plausible warm-weather option for someone who wants a sporty watch and a rubber strap rather than a steel bracelet. The rating is the manufacturer’s stated specification, not an independent water test. DOXA UK SUB 200 Divingstar.
What could make it less versatile
Yellow is the point, but it is also the main styling constraint: it will command attention and may not suit a restrained wardrobe or every occasion. The case dimensions are also worth taking seriously before buying. A 42 mm diameter and 13.80 mm height give this watch a pronounced physical presence on paper; the measurements cannot tell you how it will sit on your wrist or whether it will feel comfortable. If possible, compare the Divingstar with a watch you already own or try it on in person, and judge the color from photographs or in person rather than assuming it will work with your usual clothes.

How big is the 42 mm Doxa SUB 200?
DOXA lists the Divingstar at 42.00 mm in diameter, 46.00 mm across its stated case dimensions, 13.80 mm high, and 19 mm at the lugs. These maker-published measurements help you compare it with another watch and check strap width, but they do not establish perceived size, wrist fit or comfort. Lug-to-lug length and thickness can matter alongside diameter when you are assessing how much space a watch may occupy, so consider all the listed dimensions rather than judging by “42 mm” alone. Which bracelet or strap should you choose?
DOXA lists a stainless-steel beads-of-rice bracelet with folding clasp and wetsuit extension, as well as standard and small FKM rubber-strap options with pin buckle. The Divingstar page also lists a yellow rubber strap for the SUB 200. Since the watch has 19 mm lugs, that measurement is useful when checking strap width, but it does not guarantee that a generic strap will match the watch’s fit, end shape or hardware. Confirm the exact configuration, strap size, clasp and regional availability with the seller before ordering. DOXA UK SUB 200 Divingstar.
What should you check before buying?
- Try the case on, or compare its 42.00 × 46.00 mm dimensions and 13.80 mm height with a watch that fits you well.
- Decide whether you want the steel beads-of-rice bracelet or an FKM strap, and verify the exact option and size being sold.
- Make sure the listing says Divingstar if you want yellow; Professional is the orange variant.
- Check the current local price, stock, delivery estimate, warranty and return terms with DOXA or the retailer. The UK product page displayed £1,190 and a 10–14 working day delivery notice when retrieved in 2026; these are a dated UK-page snapshot, not a guaranteed price or delivery promise.
