ROIH—identified as “Roots of Industrial Heritage” by BackerTracker—introduced the Shek-O-Matic as a titanium watch styled after 1960s skin divers. Reported specifications
Amplitude HK’s product listing describes a 39 mm automatic watch with a Seiko NH35 movement, date display, titanium case and bracelet, and an additional fabric strap. Link and Tag’s February 25, 2024 review identifies a Seiko NH35A movement and says the watch includes a TecTuff strap; Blackbird Autojournal’s November 25, 2024 feature also reports a 39 mm case and Seiko NH35 movement. These are specifications reported by the respective sources, not a single confirmed manufacturer specification.
Water resistance is unresolved
The published ratings conflict: Amplitude HK lists 20 meters, while BackerTracker, Link and Tag, and Blackbird Autojournal report 200 meters. The number of sources repeating the higher figure does not settle the discrepancy. Without an authoritative manufacturer specification, neither rating should be treated as confirmed. In particular, do not rely on the 200 m figure to decide whether the watch is suitable for swimming or diving.
