How much is the Rolex Deepsea D-Blue?
Rolex displays a price of $15,880 USD on its US product page for the Oystersteel Deepsea reference 136660 with D-Blue dial, as checked on October 7, 2026. The figure is the listed price for that US configuration; it does not establish what a buyer will pay in another market or in a completed private or secondary-market sale. See Rolex’s US product listing.
There is not enough verified D-Blue-specific completed-sale data here to give a defensible current resale range. Treat asking prices and completed transactions as different evidence, and compare only listings that match the reference and account for condition and included items.
What watch does that price refer to?
The listed configuration is the Rolex Deepsea reference 136660, in Oystersteel with a 44 mm case, black Cerachrom bezel insert, Oyster bracelet and D-Blue dial. The bracelet closes with an Oysterlock clasp and includes Glidelock extension adjustment. These are manufacturer specifications for the listed model; they do not establish the condition or performance of an individual pre-owned watch.

What are its diving and display specifications?
Rolex states water resistance of 3,900 metres / 12,800 feet for reference 136660. This is the manufacturer’s rating, not independent dive guidance or confirmation that a particular watch—especially a used one—currently retains that resistance. The model has a unidirectional bezel with 60-minute graduations, which Rolex describes as a way to monitor dive and decompression times. Its Chromalight hands and markers emit blue luminescence; Rolex describes the black Cerachrom insert as scratch-resistant and says its graduations are coated with platinum by PVD.
How to check the price and configuration before buying
- Confirm the reference and dial. Check that the watch is reference 136660 with the D-Blue dial; do not assume that a listing for another Deepsea configuration has the same price or specification.
- Check the current price for your country. Rolex’s displayed US price is not a worldwide price or a guarantee of a transaction price. Verify the current local price with a seller.
- Verify seller authorization if it matters to you. Rolex directs buyers to Official Rolex Jewelers and says they are the only retailers allowed to sell and maintain Rolex watches. Its product page explains that authorized jewelers have the skills, technical knowledge and special equipment for this work.
- For a pre-owned watch, inspect the specific example. Confirm its condition, included items and service information with the seller. Do not treat the model’s stated water-resistance rating as proof of a particular watch’s present condition.
What to compare with another Deepsea
Compare the exact reference and dial variant first, then case size and material, movement and power reserve, stated water resistance, bracelet and adjustment system, and the official price in the relevant country. For pre-owned options, compare seller authorization, condition and completeness alongside the price. A different Deepsea listing is not a reliable resale-price comparison unless it matches the D-Blue 136660 and its sale-price basis is clear.
