The 126710GRNR is the newer GMT-Master II, with a grey-and-black bezel, Rolex calibre 3285 and a choice of Oyster or Jubilee bracelet. The 116710LN is the earlier black-bezel version, generally described in secondary comparisons as having calibre 3186 and an Oyster bracelet. Both are 40 mm Oystersteel GMT-Master II watches designed to show a second time zone; the practical choice comes down to bezel style, bracelet preference, movement generation, and whether you want a current catalogue model or a pre-owned watch.

How the bezel and dial differ
The clearest visual distinction is the bezel. Rolex identifies the 126710GRNR’s Cerachrom bezel as grey and black, while secondary comparisons describe the 116710LN’s bezel as entirely black. The 126710GRNR also has a green 24-hour hand and green GMT-Master II dial inscription, details Rolex highlighted when describing its 2024 steel models.
Choose the 116710LN if you prefer the uninterrupted look of an all-black bezel. The 126710GRNR adds a second bezel colour and green GMT accents, making its dual-time function more visually prominent. Neither choice changes the basic purpose of the GMT display.

Movement and power reserve
Rolex specifies calibre 3285 and an approximately 70-hour power reserve for the 126710GRNR. Secondary comparison sources attribute calibre 3186 and roughly 48 hours of reserve to the 116710LN. On those reported figures, the newer model offers about 22 additional hours before it needs to be wound or worn again; the older-reference figure should be treated as a secondary-source claim.
The 126710GRNR’s movement supports independent rapid setting of the local hour hand, an instantaneous date and stop-seconds, according to Rolex. Those features are useful when changing time zones or setting the watch precisely.
Both watches offer GMT second-time-zone tracking
The GMT-Master II uses an arrow-tipped 24-hour hand together with a rotatable 24-hour bezel to indicate a second time zone. Rolex describes this function on its GMT-Master II feature page. On the 126710GRNR, the independently adjustable local hour hand can be moved in one-hour increments without stopping the watch, while the 24-hour hand continues to track the reference time.
Bracelet choice: Oyster or Jubilee
Rolex currently lists the 126710GRNR with either an Oyster bracelet or a five-piece-link Jubilee bracelet. The US product pages returned listed prices of $11,800 for the Oyster configuration and $12,000 for the Jubilee configuration. These are page-listed US prices observed for the current configurations, not a guarantee of future pricing or availability; check Rolex’s live pages for current details.

Secondary comparisons describe the 116710LN as having been sold on an Oyster bracelet. If the Jubilee is a priority, the 126710GRNR is the option among these two references for which Rolex currently lists that configuration. If you are considering an older 116710LN, confirm the bracelet fitted to the particular watch rather than assuming it matches its original configuration.

Buying a pre-owned 116710LN
Rolex says only official Rolex retailers may sell and maintain Rolex watches. A pre-owned transaction therefore calls for careful checks; no individual secondary-market seller is endorsed here.
