What is the Rolex GMT-Master II 126711CHNR?
This is the steel-and-gold GMT-Master II, not the all-Everose-gold model or an all-steel version. Rolex calls the combination of Oystersteel and Everose gold Everose Rolesor. The reference has a 40 mm Oyster case, black dial and Oyster bracelet. Its bezel is bidirectional and fitted with a brown-and-black Cerachrom ceramic insert.
Rolex introduced brown-and-black bezel GMT-Master II variants in 2018: one in 18 ct Everose gold and one in Everose Rolesor, combining Oystersteel and Everose gold. The company says independent setting of the hour hand first appeared on the GMT-Master II in 1982. Rolex’s GMT-Master II history provides that background.
How does it track a second time zone?
The central 24-hour hand makes one circuit of the dial per day. Read against the bezel’s 24-hour scale, it indicates a reference time, often used for home time. The conventional hour hand shows local time and can be moved independently in one-hour increments, forward or backward, without resetting the minute and seconds hands. What does the steel-and-gold configuration mean for buyers?

What can—and cannot—be said about wearing it?
The 40 mm case, gold-and-steel construction, bracelet, clasp and extension system describe the design, but specifications cannot establish wrist presence, weight, comfort, clasp feel, bezel action or finishing impressions.
