Rolex’s yellow-gold and two-tone GMT-Master II options are not 2026 launches: the grey-and-black Cerachrom bezel appeared on both an 18 ct yellow-gold watch and a Yellow Rolesor model in 2023. The current all-gold example is the 40 mm reference 126718GRNR, with a black dial; Yellow Rolesor pairs Oystersteel with yellow gold. Both use the GMT-Master II’s 24-hour hand and rotating bezel to track a second time zone.
What is the yellow-gold Rolex GMT-Master II?
Rolex identifies reference 126718GRNR as a 40 mm Oyster GMT-Master II in 18 ct yellow gold. It has a black dial and a two-colour grey-and-black Cerachrom bezel. See the official 126718GRNR product page for the current specification.
Rolex’s US product page displayed a price of $50,800 when accessed in 2026. That is a volatile US list price, not a guarantee of dealer stock or a price for other markets; check the product page for the latest figure.
What is the two-tone Rolex GMT-Master II?
Rolex calls its steel-and-yellow-gold combination Yellow Rolesor. The brand’s newsroom says the grey-and-black bezel was introduced in 2023 on both a Yellow Rolesor GMT-Master II and an all-yellow-gold version. Rolex’s US catalogue continues to list both material configurations. Its 13 GMT-Master II results at the time accessed in 2026 are a catalogue snapshot, not a fixed count.

Rolex’s GMT-Master II model history documents the 2023 introduction. The word “new” is therefore accurate only with a clear time frame: the grey-and-black bezel combinations are new from 2023, not newly launched in 2026.
How does the GMT-Master II show two time zones?
The triangle-tipped 24-hour hand works with the graduated, rotatable bezel to indicate a second time zone. The local hour hand moves independently in one-hour increments, forwards or backwards, without stopping or changing the minute and seconds hands. This lets a wearer adjust local time while retaining the second-zone display, as described in Rolex’s GMT-Master II overview.

What movement does it use?
Rolex specifies calibre 3285 for the GMT-Master II. The brand states a Superlative Chronometer precision of −2/+2 seconds per day for the finished watch. That is Rolex’s stated standard, not the result of independent testing of a particular watch. The movement and precision details appear in Rolex’s 2025 GMT-Master II announcement; Rolex also published a 2024 GMT-Master II announcement.
