Rolex Oyster Perpetual Celebration Dial Prices: What the 2026 Estimates Show

A 2026 valuation document and dealer guide report high Celebration dial estimates, but neither establishes a universal or verified completed-sale price.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Celebration dial watches have been assigned high secondary-market estimates, but the available figures do not establish a single market price or prove that supply is surging. A January 2026 valuation document put a turquoise Celebration Oyster Perpetual at £11,500; a dealer guide reflecting February 2026 estimated $23,000–$26,000 for a Celebration 41. They refer to different currencies and levels of model detail, and neither excerpt verifies completed-sale prices.

What is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Celebration dial?

Celebration is a multicoloured dial motif associated with the Oyster Perpetual. Rolex’s brochure search result identifies it on an Oyster Perpetual 36, reference M126000-0009. A dealer guide also discusses a Celebration 41. These sources support at least those two size examples, but do not establish the complete reference or size range.

Do not confuse the Celebration motif with the “Jubilee motif” dials shown on Rolex’s current collection page. The page lists Jubilee motifs in 36 mm and 41 mm; that is a separately named dial design, not evidence that the two motifs are interchangeable. Rolex’s current Oyster Perpetual collection provides current model and price context, not a historical Celebration price.

What are the reported secondary-market estimates?

Source and date Watch described Reported figure What the source establishes
Doerr Valuations, January 2026 “Celebration turquoise” Oyster Perpetual £11,500 A valuation estimate. The excerpt does not identify the exact reference, condition, valuation method, or whether the figure reflects asking prices or completed sales.
SwissWatchExpo guide reflecting February 2026 Celebration 41 $23,000–$26,000 An approximate dealer-published pre-owned estimate. The guide also gives an approximate retail comparator of $6,500; the excerpt does not establish a completed-sale median or a quote for every condition.

These are separate reports, not the endpoints of a reliable price range. The pound figure is for a turquoise Celebration Oyster Perpetual without an identified reference in the excerpt; the dollar range names a Celebration 41. Their dates, currencies, specificity, and publication methods differ. Neither should be presented as a verified universal transaction price.

Do these figures prove Celebration watches are flooding the market?

No. The cited material discusses secondary-market pricing, but does not quantify new listings or establish a recent increase in supply. The premise that the watches are “starting to hit” the market should therefore be treated cautiously, rather than as a measured market-wide trend. The sources also provide no production-volume figure or Celebration-specific scarcity statistic.

For broader context, Bob’s Watches says its Rolex charts use annual median completed transaction prices, with 2026 data through August 18, 2026. It notes that condition, configuration, age, provenance, and box and papers affect value, and that it omits annual reference points when transaction history is insufficient. The available evidence does not provide a Celebration-specific median. Bob’s Watches’ Rolex price chart explains that broader methodology; it cannot substitute for exact-reference Celebration transactions.

How should you compare a Celebration listing?

Compare like with like before judging whether an asking price is high. For each candidate, record:

Rank #2
Rolex, Pre-loved Oyster Perpetual Black Dial 79160 26mm, Black
  • Pre-Loved Condition: Excellent; Faint scratching to back of case
  • 26mm
  • Made in Switzerland
  • Oysterclasp Closure
  • Signature upon delivery required
  • Exact reference and case size: A 36 mm watch and a 41 mm watch are not automatically comparable.
  • Price type and date: Keep a seller’s asking price separate from a documented completed-sale price, and note when the listing or transaction occurred.
  • Currency and geography: Convert currencies only with a stated exchange-rate date, and account for the market in which the watch is offered.
  • Condition and age: Wear, service history, and the watch’s age can affect value.
  • Provenance and included items: Check the watch’s history and whether box and papers are included.
  • Seller and transaction protections: Verify who is selling it, how authenticity is assessed, and what return protections apply.

Rolex says only official Rolex retailers are allowed to sell and maintain a Rolex watch, so a secondary-market seller should not be assumed to be an authorized retailer. Seller status, authenticity, condition, provenance, and return protections are distinct checks; one does not prove the others. Rolex’s Oyster Perpetual page sets out the brand’s statement about official retailers.

How do current Oyster Perpetual prices compare?

Rolex’s US collection page displayed the following prices for steel Oyster Perpetual models when accessed October 9, 2026. These are current collection prices, not the original MSRP for a Celebration configuration, so they should not be used to calculate a Celebration premium.

Case size Displayed US price
28 mm $6,200
31 mm $6,300
34 mm $6,400
36 mm $6,750
41 mm $7,050

What does Rolex say about the Oyster Perpetual range?

Rolex’s newsroom describes the range as spanning 28, 31, 34, 36, and 41 mm, and says its Oyster case is guaranteed waterproof to 100 metres (330 feet). The company also identifies calibre 2232 in the 28, 31, and 34 mm models and calibre 3230 in the 36 and 41 mm models. These are current collection details, not a condition assessment of any pre-owned Celebration watch. Rolex’s newsroom wording is: “The Oyster Perpetual’s Oyster case, 28 mm, 31 mm, 34 mm, 36 mm or 41 mm in diameter and guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet), is a paragon of robustness and reliability.” Rolex newsroom: Oyster Perpetual.
