The Rolex Yacht-Master 42 reference 226627 is a 42 mm watch with an RLX titanium case and bracelet, an intense black dial and a bidirectional 60-minute bezel. Rolex specifies calibre 3235, approximately 70 hours of power reserve and water resistance to 100 metres. Case, material and dial
Rolex specifies a 42 mm Oyster case made from RLX titanium, the grade 5 titanium alloy the brand says it selects for lightness, mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The construction comprises a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back and screw-down Triplock winding crown. The dial is described as intense black and has a Chromalight display, which Rolex says emits a long-lasting blue luminescence. Bezel and timing use
The bidirectional bezel has a matt black Cerachrom ceramic insert with polished, raised numerals and graduations. Rolex describes the 60-minute scale as a way to calculate elapsed sailing time, such as the interval between two buoys. This is a timing function; it does not make the watch a navigation instrument.
Movement and stated precision
Inside is Rolex’s Perpetual mechanical self-winding calibre 3235. Its listed functions are central hours, minutes and seconds, an instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds for precise time setting. The movement winds in both directions through its rotor.

Crystal and water resistance
Rolex specifies a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, with a Cyclops lens over the date, and water resistance to 100 metres (330 feet). These are the manufacturer’s published specifications; they do not by themselves establish suitability for a particular diving activity.
Titanium bracelet and adjustment
The three-piece solid-link Oyster bracelet is made from RLX titanium. It has an Oysterlock folding safety clasp and an Easylink comfort extension that adds approximately 5 mm. Rolex also says patented ceramic inserts inside the links help improve flexibility on the wrist and longevity.

Australian price and buying channel
When checked in 2026, Rolex’s Australian product page displayed a price of AU$26,900. This is a time-sensitive Australian listing, not a global price or a guarantee of current availability. Rolex states: “Only official Rolex retailers are allowed to sell and maintain a Rolex watch.” It says those retailers have the skills, technical know-how and special equipment to guarantee the authenticity of each part.
