The RZE × Fratello Resolute Pro “Contour” is a limited-edition automatic watch released in March 2024. Its defining feature is a forged-carbon dial with steel powder infused into the material to create a contour-like pattern; the published specifications also list a 40 mm Grade 2 titanium case, titanium bracelet, Miyota 90S5 movement and 100 m water resistance. The “Available Now” headline referred to its launch, not confirmed stock today.
What is the RZE × Fratello Resolute Pro “Contour”?
It is a limited-edition collaboration between watchmaker RZE and watch publication Fratello. Worn & Wound’s release coverage was published on March 13, 2024, and said the watch would launch the next day; Fratello’s archive dates its launch article to March 14, 2024. The release was presented as a field watch whose dial evokes the terrain it is designed to traverse. Alec Dent of Worn & Wound summed up the concept as: “It’s a field watch with the field on the watch.”
How is the Contour dial made?
The dial uses forged-carbon sheets with steel powder infused into the material, producing its topographic-style appearance. The launch coverage says each dial pattern is unique, so the exact contours vary from watch to watch rather than repeating as a uniform printed design. The caseback also carries a topographic pattern and the Fratello logo.

What to consider when comparing it with another field watch
The Contour’s published details give you a starting point, but not a substitute for hands-on comparison. Assess case diameter and material, bracelet fit, movement functions and reserve, water-resistance rating, dial construction, and the price and availability you can verify now. A titanium case or coating alone does not establish comparative durability, accuracy or comfort.
