Samsung names eight new watch faces across the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7, but Galaxy Store is not available on Wear OS models. Use Google Play on the watch or the connected phone’s Galaxy Wearable app to browse and install faces; results are filtered for the selected device and software version. Samsung explicitly identifies Simple Ultra as exclusive to the Watch Ultra, but does not establish current individual store listings for each face.
Which faces come with the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch7?
Samsung’s July 2024 support article groups the eight new faces into three categories. It explicitly marks Simple Ultra as exclusive to the Watch Ultra; do not assume the other faces are available on both watches in every region or software state.
| Category | Faces named by Samsung | Availability note |
|---|---|---|
| Informative and outdoor | Ultra Analog, Simple Ultra, Ultra Info Board, Info Bricks | Simple Ultra is explicitly identified as Watch Ultra exclusive. Check the target watch for other faces. |
| Fashion | Spatial Number, Simple Digital | Samsung names these as part of the Ultra and Watch7 face collection; confirm availability on the individual device. |
| Kids | Friends, School time mode | Samsung names these in the collection; availability may vary by device and software. |
Samsung Gulf describes eight new faces and says two are exclusive to Watch Ultra, but its listed faces explicitly mark only Simple Ultra as exclusive. The available source does not identify the second exclusive face, so this guide does not speculate about it.
Official ways to find and install watch faces
Samsung says Galaxy Store cannot be accessed on Wear OS models. For Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch7, use Google Play on the watch or the connected phone’s Galaxy Wearable app. Samsung’s instructions may show different labels or screens depending on region and software version.

Compatibility: check your exact watch
Google Play filters watch-face listings by device model and operating-system version. A face’s name appearing in Samsung’s product materials does not guarantee it can be installed on every Galaxy Watch, in every region, or with every software build.

| What to check | What Samsung’s guidance supports |
|---|---|
| Device and operating system | Only faces compatible with the specific model and OS version are displayed and available for download. |
| Software updates | Update the watch and check again if a face is missing; availability can depend on current software support. |
| Older faces | Some older faces may no longer appear on Watch7 or Watch Ultra if they do not meet updated Wear OS requirements. |
| Customization | Options vary by face; Samsung’s general instructions do not establish a complete feature list for every named face. |
Samsung Developer documentation says Watch Face Format is required for faces installed on devices with Wear OS 5 pre-installed beginning July 10, 2024, and for new watch faces published on Google Play beginning January 27, 2025; new publications also require a minimum SDK of 33. These are platform requirements, not confirmation that any specific face is currently listed or compatible.
Why a watch face may be missing
If you cannot find a face, it may not be compatible with the selected watch or its software version, or the developer may not have updated it to meet current Wear OS requirements. Regional availability and store screens can also differ. A missing result does not by itself show that a face has been discontinued everywhere.
