Its documented specifications include a hardened 316L steel case measuring 42 mm across, 46.7 mm lug to lug, and a stated 200 m water-resistance rating. The published launch prices were USD 615 for the first ten days and USD 725 afterward in 2021; neither is a verified current price.
What makes the Giant Stride different?
Instead of a conventional external bezel, the Giant Stride places a bidirectional 60-minute timing scale beneath the crystal. The upper screw-down crown turns that internal bezel; the lower screw-down crown winds and sets the watch. This arrangement gives the watch its defining look and keeps the timing scale within the case, while requiring a separate control for bezel adjustment.
Monochrome’s October 22, 2021 hands-on account describes a slightly domed sapphire crystal with six layers of anti-reflective coating. The dial has a wave-pattern center, applied luminous markers, and a date window. The four listed dial colors are Slate Grey, Royal Blue, Bulls Eye Red, and Combat Green. Monochrome reported that the collection was limited to 350 pieces across all colors. Monochrome’s review and specifications

How it wears and what reviews actually establish
The dimensions place the Giant Stride in substantial-watch territory: the 42 mm diameter is paired with a 46.7 mm lug-to-lug length and 13.2 mm thickness. Reviewer Loren Sciurba wrote, “This is not a small watch,” in The Time Bum’s July 31, 2021 review. That is a personal impression, not a standardized fit assessment; wrist shape, strap choice, and preference all affect how these measurements feel. The Time Bum’s review
The published production specification identifies a hardened steel case, while The Time Bum described 1200HV hardening on the case and bracelet and discussed planned production refinements. WatchDNA also reported a clasp with four micro-adjustment positions and noted a concern about end-link articulation. WatchDNA’s hands-on account These are reviewer observations from individual samples, not evidence that every production watch has identical fit or finishing.

Monochrome and The Time Bum both identify their watches as prototypes or late-stage prototypes. Monochrome’s technical list describes the production bracelet as an H-link design with folding clasp and micro-adjustment, while noting that its prototype clasp differed from the expected production clasp. For an actual example, inspect the clasp and bracelet rather than relying on prototype impressions alone.
Movement and practical ownership considerations
The listed Sellita SW200-1 is an automatic movement with a 38-hour stated power reserve, hacking seconds, date, 26 jewels, and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Monochrome describes it as a familiar alternative to the ETA 2824 and says many watchmakers can service it; that is the reviewer’s assessment, not a service guarantee from the brand. Ask a prospective seller about the individual watch’s service history and have a qualified watchmaker assess its condition when appropriate.

Both Monochrome and The Time Bum reported the same 2021 launch terms: USD 615 during the first ten days, then USD 725. Those are historical introductory and regular launch prices, not a current retail quote or a reliable estimate of today’s second-hand value. Second Hour’s visible watch collection did not list the Giant Stride among the products captured, but that does not rule out private inventory or listings elsewhere.

A SeriousWatches pre-owned listing for a green example displayed €724.79 near the title but was marked sold out when accessed. The listing described that particular watch as barely worn with box and papers, and stated a 2022 production year; it also listed a one-year retailer warranty against mechanical defects. Its displayed manufacturer-warranty end date, September 2024, has passed. These details apply only to that sold-out listing, not to every Giant Stride or any current offer. The SeriousWatches pre-owned listing
Current new stock, market-wide used availability, and a representative resale value have not been established. Treat the launch prices and the sold-out listing as historical reference points, then judge any live offer by its condition, included accessories, service records, seller warranty, and total cost.

The value proposition rests on a distinctive internal-bezel layout, a hardened-steel case, sapphire crystal, a standard Swiss automatic movement, and a bracelet plus included NATO-style strap in the published specification. Its compact lug width may help with strap options, though actual compatibility still needs checking. The limited 350-piece run and unusual dual-crown design may appeal to buyers seeking something less conventional than a typical external-bezel diver.
Value is harder to judge from price alone because the verified monetary figures are launch-era terms or a single sold-out pre-owned listing. For a used watch, compare the asking price with the actual condition and service needs rather than treating USD 615, USD 725, or €724.79 as current market benchmarks. The available reviews are hands-on accounts of prototypes, not standardized testing or a representative owner survey.
