The Seiko 5 Sports Street Fighter V watches are character-themed limited editions announced in 2020. The official launch lineup includes Ryu (SRPF19), Chun-Li (SRPF17) and Blanka (SRPF23), among three other characters. The reference “SRPF29K1” in the video-review title cannot be confirmed from Seiko’s launch lineup, so it should not be treated as a verified model or silently replaced with another reference.
Which Seiko Street Fighter watches are in the review?
Seiko announced six Seiko 5 Sports watches inspired by Street Fighter V on 19 August 2020, with release planned for September that year. Each was announced as a limited edition of 9,999 pieces. That is the original edition size, not evidence of current stock, market scarcity or resale value. Seiko’s 2020 launch announcement names these references and characters:

How do the Ryu, Chun-Li and Blanka designs differ?
Ryu: SRPF19
Seiko says the Ryu design takes cues from his judo uniform. The bezel has scratch-like marks, Furinkazan kanji are represented at 9 o’clock, and the see-through caseback carries the Hadoken controller command. Chun-Li: SRPF17
The Chun-Li edition uses blue and gold inspired by her dress. Seiko points to a collar motif at 12 o’clock and spike-bracelet references in the indices at 6 and 9. The launch release gives the family reference as SRPF17; the K1 market suffix should be confirmed for the specific watch being discussed.
Blanka: SRPF23
The Blanka watch uses a green palette, with an electric-discharge motif on the bezel and a pressed dial pattern based on rolling attacks. Tooth-like indices and Blanka Chan imagery at the end of the nylon strap carry the character theme onto the case and strap; the caseback shows the Electric Thunder command. Is SRPF29K1 a real Seiko Street Fighter reference?
It is unresolved. Seiko’s 2020 launch announcement lists SRPF17, SRPF19, SRPF21, SRPF23, SRPF24 and SRPF20—not SRPF29. That mismatch is a reason to verify the reference against the watch, packaging or original video before publishing it as a model name. The lineup evidence does not prove that SRPF29K1 cannot be another Seiko reference or a market designation; it simply does not confirm it as one of the six Street Fighter editions.
What did the limited-edition announcement mean for price and availability?
Seiko announced worldwide availability through Seiko Boutiques and selected retail partners in September 2020, with 9,999 pieces per character edition. The release also gave a recommended retail price of 450 euro for Europe at launch. That historical, region-specific price is not a current price and should not be applied to other markets. The launch announcement does not establish whether any reference is in stock now or what it currently sells for.
