The original Seiko 5 Sports x Rowing Blazers capsule launched in 2021 with three designs: the Rally Diver SRPG49, zig-zag SRPG51 and four-color-bezel SRPG53. The first two were limited to 500 pieces apiece; SRPG53 was announced as a special edition. Seiko later announced two different Rowing Blazers Rally Divers for 2026, so the newer pair should not be confused with the original references.
The three original Seiko x Rowing Blazers watches
Seiko Watch of America introduced the collaboration on June 17, 2021. Its launch release describes three distinct takes on the Seiko 5 Sports platform, all priced at $495 each in the United States at launch. That is a historical retail price, not a current quote.

These edition labels matter: Seiko specified a production limit for SRPG49 and SRPG51, while it called SRPG53 a special edition without stating a number in the launch release. The designation alone does not establish a matching 500-piece limit.
What distinguishes the original designs
SRPG49 Rally Diver
SRPG49 is the collaboration’s Rally Diver design. Its identity comes from the diver-style bezel and the capsule’s shared Rowing Blazers details rather than a zig-zag dial treatment or the four-color bezel used on SRPG53.

SRPG51 Zig-zag
SRPG51 is the most direct expression of Rowing Blazers’ zig-zag motif, which also appears on the collaboration’s collector tin. It was one of the two references Seiko explicitly limited to 500 pieces.
SRPG53 Four-color bezel
SRPG53 is identified by its four-color bezel. Seiko classified it as a special edition in the 2021 announcement, but did not give a production quantity there.
Shared collaboration details and package
Seiko’s launch material highlights Rowing Blazers dial branding and a red-and-white seconds hand across the capsule. Each watch was presented with a bracelet and an alternate nylon military strap, along with a collector tin in the collaboration’s zig-zag pattern. These shared elements connect the three designs even where their bezel and dial treatments differ.
Rowing Blazers credits its founder and creative director Jack Carlson and Seiko’s Product Development team with the designs. Its account also says Eric Wind made the introduction and assisted with the design process. Carlson described the project as the brand’s first real foray into watches, while noting that Rowing Blazers had often sold vintage Seikos.
The separate 2026 Rowing Blazers Rally Divers
Seiko announced a second collaboration in 2026: SRPM19 and SRPM21, both Rally Diver designs. They are not revised names for the 2021 SRPG49, SRPG51 or SRPG53. Seiko lists each new reference as a limited edition of 2,500 numbered pieces, with an announced retail price of $495.

According to Seiko’s 2026 announcement, both use the automatic caliber 4R36, offer approximately 41 hours of power reserve, include day/date displays and are water resistant to 10 bar. The announcement’s $495 figure is the stated retail price; it does not confirm present stock.
Availability and what the edition numbers establish
The available launch announcements establish original edition descriptions and announced retail prices, but they do not verify current retailer inventory, resale prices or the condition of individual watches. For a pre-owned example, check the exact reference, the seller’s condition description and what is included rather than assuming the original package or strap set is present.
