Seiko Mexico’s product result identifies SRPJ37 as a Seiko 5 Sports watch with a camouflage dial, but does not establish its current stock or price. Seiko Mexico product page.
Shared reported specifications
Fratello reported the following specifications for both watches; its detailed dimensions are given for SRPJ39, with SRPJ37 described as sharing them:
- Movement: Seiko 4R36 automatic, running at 21,600 vibrations per hour, with 24 jewels and a 41-hour power reserve.
- Display: Day and date at 3 o’clock.
- Case: 42.5 mm diameter, 13.4 mm thick, with a 46 mm lug-to-lug measurement.
- Strap width: 22 mm lug width.
- Water resistance: 100 m.
The regular display case back shows the movement, while the SRPJ39’s special case back carries the collaboration details and limited-edition number. Which camouflage look suits each watch?
SRPJ39: darker and more tactile
The SRPJ39 combines a black-coated case and black silicone strap with a black-and-gray stamped dial. Its textured pattern and numbered case back distinguish it as the collaboration and limited edition. It is the choice for someone drawn to a subdued palette and the Horigome connection.
SRPJ37: greener and more conventional
The SRPJ37 puts the camouflage pattern in green and uses a glossy dial finish, paired with a black nylon NATO strap. It offers the more overtly green take on the theme and was presented as the regular-production model, rather than a numbered collaboration.

What “Seiko 5” means in context
In its 2019 relaunch announcement, Seiko described the “5” in Seiko 5 as referring to five attributes: automatic movement, a day-date display at 3 o’clock, water resistance, a recessed crown at 4 o’clock, and a case and bracelet built for durability. Seiko also described 5 Sports as adding enhanced water resistance, a strengthened crystal, and luminous hands and hour markers. Those points provide collection context; they should not be taken to mean every Seiko 5 model across the collection’s history has identical construction. Seiko’s 2019 Seiko 5 Sports announcement.
Prices and availability: a 2022 snapshot
The €340 SRPJ39 price, €330 SRPJ37 price, and expected September 2022 availability are figures from Fratello’s August 2022 release coverage. They describe the launch period only.
