The clearest distinction among the three is the configuration: SRPL73 has a stainless-steel bracelet, while SRPL75 has a cow-leather band. Seiko lists all three at $595 in the US; UK prices differ by model.
How the three Style60s references differ
Seiko’s US collection page presents SRPL71, SRPL73 and SRPL75 as part of the Presage Style60s line, inspired by the Crown Chronograph introduced in 1964. The official Singapore page groups all three among the newer 4R35 models. However, the available official product details do not provide a complete set of SRPL71 specifications, so avoid assuming its strap, weight or dial details from the other references.
| Reference | Band | Listed weight | US price | UK price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SRPL71 | Not stated in the available official product details | Not stated in the available official product details | $595 | £540 |
| SRPL73 | Stainless-steel bracelet | 130.0 g | $595 | £540 |
| SRPL75 | Cow-leather band | 62.0 g | $595 | £500 |
Prices are those shown on Seiko’s US and UK pages; they are regional listed prices, not a guarantee of current stock or a retailer’s transaction price. See the US Style60s collection and the UK Style60s collection for current regional listings.

#1 Best Overall
- Polished And Brushed Stainless Steel
- 40.8mm Case Diameter
- 60s Style Inspiration
- Perforated Leather Strap
Both use Seiko caliber 4R35, an automatic movement with manual winding, approximately 41 hours of power reserve, 23 jewels, stop-seconds and a date display. Seiko also lists LumiBrite hands and indexes and 4,800 A/m magnetic resistance. The date function is a modern addition: the original Crown Chronograph did not have a date window, according to Seiko’s Singapore Style60s special page.
SRPL73: bracelet configuration
SRPL73 pairs its stainless-steel case with a stainless-steel bracelet and a three-fold push-button clasp. Seiko lists its weight as 130.0 g. It is the choice of these two fully specified models if you prefer a matching metal band rather than leather.

Design: 1960s inspiration with a date display
Seiko says the Style60s design takes inspiration from its 1964 Crown Chronograph. The collection carries over visual cues including box-shaped glass, faceted indexes and sharply shaped hands, while adding contrasting dial finishes, a gently inward-slanted case and polished lugs. These details give the watches a vintage-influenced look without making them reproductions of the original model.

Dial color and finish can help distinguish individual references, but the official material cited here does not establish a complete SRPL71 dial description. Check the relevant regional product listing for the exact color and availability rather than inferring it from another reference.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose SRPL73 if you want a stainless-steel bracelet and prefer the fully specified metal-band version.
- Choose SRPL75 if you want a cow-leather band and the lower listed weight of the two documented versions.
- Consider SRPL71 if its specific dial or configuration appeals to you, but confirm its current regional product details before deciding; the official information available here does not establish all of its specifications.
All three share the collection’s vintage-inspired design direction and Seiko lists them at the same US price. The UK page lists SRPL75 at £500 and SRPL71 and SRPL73 at £540, so the relative value depends on where you are buying and the price currently offered in your market.

Price, availability and performance claims
Seiko’s UK and US collection pages list different prices by region, and prices and stock can change. Check the local Seiko listing or an authorized retailer for current availability. Seiko’s 2021 launch announcement described a six-model Style60s launch with Japanese suggested retail prices from ¥55,000 to ¥66,000 including tax; that historical launch range is not a current price for these US or UK references. The announcement is available in Seiko’s 2021 Style60s launch release.
The official specifications establish the listed movement and construction details, but they do not provide independent accuracy tests, laboratory durability results or an owner-satisfaction comparison among SRPL71, SRPL73 and SRPL75. No comparative performance verdict is justified by those specifications alone.
