Does the Citizen NY0040 wear smaller?
Its listed 42 mm diameter is smaller than the SRPE93’s listed 45.0 mm diameter. That is a clear difference in one dimension, not a complete on-wrist comparison. Lug-to-lug span—the distance across the ends of the lugs—is often useful when judging whether a watch will extend beyond the top of a wrist. Neither cited exact-model page provides that measurement, so the available official specifications cannot establish which watch has the shorter span.
Other design details may influence how each feels. Seiko describes the SRPE93’s curved, shell-like case shape as a “turtle” silhouette on its product page. Citizen places the NY0040-09W’s crown at 8 o’clock, according to its listing. These are documented design features, not guarantees of comfort; wrist shape and personal preference still matter.

Is the Seiko Turtle too big for a small wrist?
The SRPE93’s 45.0 mm diameter and 13.42 mm thickness are useful starting points, but they do not by themselves answer whether it will suit a particular small wrist. What the missing fit measurements mean
For a closer comparison, look for the exact reference numbers—SRPE93 and NY0040-09W—and verify measurements against the specific listing or documentation for the watch being considered. In particular, seek lug-to-lug, thickness, and weight for both, plus the Citizen’s lug width. The official pages cited here do not establish those missing values, so filling them from a different Turtle, a different NY0040 variant, or an uncited third-party listing could produce a misleading comparison.
