Lincoln said 500 of each were planned. Their launch-era reported U.S. prices were $1,100 and $1,300, respectively; those are historical figures, not current offers.
What were the Lincoln x Shinola anniversary watches?
Lincoln and Shinola announced the collaboration on August 5, 2022, as part of Lincoln’s 100th-anniversary celebration. The two models were the Shinola Runwell Sport Chronograph and Runwell Automatic. Lincoln’s official announcement said each model was planned as a limited run of 500 watches. Both had Lincoln branding, including an engraved Lincoln logo on the case back, and were presented in a custom wooden Shinola box made for the anniversary.
The release framed the watches as a celebration of the brands’ shared Detroit heritage and approach to design and craftsmanship. It quoted Lincoln North America director Michael Sprague describing them as a memento of the anniversary, and Shinola vice president of creative design Ruthie Underwood describing the Runwell models as a celebration of the brands’ shared heritage.

The movement, water-resistance and price details are reported by the secondary watch publication aBlogtoWatch, rather than Lincoln’s announcement. The prices are launch-era reported retail prices, not verified current prices.

Which one is the better fit?
Choose the Sport Chronograph for a larger quartz watch
At 48 mm, the Sport Chronograph is the larger of the pair and is likely to wear more prominently. Its quartz movement and chronograph format distinguish it from the Automatic, while the black-and-rose-gold palette and branded sub-eye make the Lincoln connection visible on the dial. Its reported 100 m water-resistance rating is higher than the Automatic’s; this rating alone does not establish suitability for a particular water activity.
Choose the Runwell Automatic for a smaller mechanical watch
The Automatic’s 39.5 mm case is substantially smaller, and its Sellita SW200-1 is a mechanical automatic movement rather than quartz. Its polished steel, textured black dial, rose-gold numerals and black leather strap give it a more restrained presentation. Its reported water-resistance rating is 50 m.

Are the watches still available?
Current availability has not been established. The 500-piece-per-model figure describes the announced production run, not present inventory, and the 2022 launch prices should not be treated as today’s asking prices. Shinola’s current general watch catalog does not by itself confirm that either Lincoln collaboration model is still offered. If considering a listing elsewhere, verify the exact model, seller, condition and price directly; no current stock or authorized seller status is confirmed here.
