The Sinn 104 St Sa I W is the white-dial version of the brand’s 104 pilot-watch family: a 41 mm polished steel watch with day and date displays, a bidirectional ratcheting pilot’s bezel, and a display back. Sinn’s September 2026 specification sheet lists it from €1,530 with a leather or silicone strap, including tax, or from €1,830 on a solid bracelet. Those are manufacturer prices, not a hands-on verdict: the published specifications cannot tell you how the polished case will wear on your wrist, how a particular example keeps time, or whether its size suits you.
What is the Sinn 104 St Sa I W?
Sinn calls the 104 St Sa I W “a classic pilot watch designed in traditional SINN style.” The I W designation identifies the glossy white dial; the wider 104 St Sa I family also includes the anthracite I A and dark-blue I B. Sinn’s 2025–2026 catalogue places these variants in the same family, with the same basic pilot-watch layout and feature set.
The I W pairs its bright dial with applied indices and hour, minute, and seconds hands coated with luminous material. Its display includes both day of the week and date. A captive pilot’s bezel ratchets in one-minute increments and rotates in either direction; Sinn describes it as securely attached to the case and gives it a luminous key mark.

The listed 20 bar rating is a manufacturer specification, not by itself a recommendation for a particular water activity. Consult Sinn for activity-specific guidance and check the condition and service history of a used watch before relying on its water resistance.
Sinn says its movement information reflects current production in Frankfurt and warns that individual sales-partner stock can differ because of technical changes. That qualification is especially relevant when comparing older inventory or a pre-owned example with the current sheet.

How does the white I W differ from the I A and I B?
The clearest stated distinction among these family variants is the dial color and finish. The I W has a glossy white dial; the I A uses anthracite electroplated sunburst, and the I B uses dark-blue sunburst. Sinn’s catalogue describes the family as sharing day/date displays, a two-way minute-ratcheting pilot bezel, sapphire crystal and display back, a 20 bar rating, and a two-year guarantee.
| Variant | Dial as described by Sinn | Best reason to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| 104 St Sa I W | Glossy white | A bright, high-contrast look rather than a darker sunburst dial |
| 104 St Sa I A | Anthracite electroplated sunburst | A dark neutral dial with a sunburst finish |
| 104 St Sa I B | Dark-blue sunburst | A dark blue dial with a sunburst finish |
The catalogue’s shared-family description does not establish that every detail or supplied configuration is identical across every production batch. Check the exact reference and included strap or bracelet when comparing listings. The September 2026 prices above apply specifically to the I W sheet and should not be treated as current prices for the other variants.

What can the specifications tell you about fit and ownership?
The official dimensions give a useful starting point, not a fit verdict. The case measures 41 mm across, is 11.9 mm thick, and takes a 20 mm strap; its listed 73 g weight excludes the strap. Whether it feels comfortable or looks proportionate depends on your wrist, the watch’s stance and lug shape, and the chosen strap or bracelet. Those impressions require trying it on or handling the exact configuration.
The polished steel case, sapphire front crystal, screwable crown, and screw-fastened case back are construction details from Sinn’s sheet. They do not establish how well the finish resists marks over time or how the bezel and crown feel in use. Likewise, the SW 220-1 specification does not predict the timekeeping of an individual watch. No measured accuracy, wear test, or long-term durability result is established here.

- Stainless-steel Case - The durable stainless-steel case is resistant to corrosion, rust, and daily wear and tear.
- Chronograph - The main advantage of a chronograph is its stopwatch function, allowing you to measure elapsed time accurately and with ease.
- Eco-friendly Fabric Strap - The slip-thru fabric strap is crafted from recycled plastic, bringing new life to materials that would otherwise end up in the landfill. It's also double-layered for durability.
- Enhanced Visibility - Luminant hands make it easier to tell the time in lowlight conditions.
If you are considering an aftermarket strap, the 20 mm lug width is a useful compatibility starting point, but not a guarantee that every nominally 20 mm strap will fit well. End-link shape, spring bars, strap thickness and taper, and clasp compatibility can all matter.
