Its palladium-alloyed 18-carat white-gold case, understated anthracite dial and distinctive UWD 33.1 calibre set it apart. Sinn says the 55-piece model is no longer in its current collection.
What makes the Meisterbund I distinctive?
The 6200 WG Meisterbund I was released to mark Sinn’s 55th anniversary in 2016 and limited to 55 watches. Its name reflects the collaboration behind it: Sinn’s product information credits Sinn, Uhren-Werke-Dresden (UWD) and Sächsische Uhrentechnologie GmbH (SUG). Sinn assigns the case to SUG and the movement to UWD. The name also evokes the master craftsmen in Richard Wagner’s opera Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg; Sinn’s product-information PDF quotes Hans Sachs’s final address: “Scorn not the Masters, I bid you, and honour their art!”
The result pairs precious metal and restrained styling with a movement that has a more distinctive architecture than a conventional hand-wound dress-watch calibre. Sinn’s archived product listing identifies the model as no longer part of its current collection.

WatchTime’s review, published May 13, 2018, describes the white-gold case as less than 10 mm thick. The review discusses its case construction and crown with a D3 system, as well as the movement’s regulation features. These are the reviewer’s observations, not a new hands-on assessment here.

WatchTime also measured more than 53 hours of running time and reported consistent rates when fully wound, after 24 hours, and while worn on the reviewer’s wrist. That is the result of that review’s test; Sinn’s published figure is a 55-hour power reserve. What movement is in the Sinn 6200 WG Meisterbund I?
It uses the UWD 33.1, a manually wound calibre from Uhren-Werke-Dresden. Its flying spring barrel is the most immediately notable construction feature: rather than enclosing the mainspring in a conventional barrel drum, the design leaves the spring barrel visibly exposed. Six eccentric weights on the balance provide a means of adjusting its rate, alongside a regulator system for precision adjustment. The movement also includes stop seconds, which halts the seconds hand when setting the watch, and Sinn specifies anti-magnetism to DIN 8309.
Sinn states a 55-hour reserve. WatchTime’s 2018 test found more than 53 hours under its review conditions, a separate test result rather than a replacement for the manufacturer’s specification.

Case, dial and wearing details
The case combines polished palladium-alloyed 18-carat white gold with satinised sides, giving the precious-metal construction a more restrained finish than an entirely mirror-polished exterior. At 40 mm across and 9.3 mm thick, it has conventional dress-watch proportions on paper; its listed 20 mm lug width is useful when assessing replacement straps. The anthracite dial adds guilloché texture and applied markers without crowding the display, which is limited to hours, minutes and subsidiary seconds.
The original presentation information describes an alligator-leather strap in mocha or black. Sinn’s product-information PDF also lists a wooden case, Eschenbach watchmaker’s loupe, care cloth, brochure and warranty card. A 20 mm replacement strap is a plausible option, but lug width alone does not guarantee a suitable fit. Check the strap’s end shape, buckle, length and compatibility with the specific watch before ordering.

Yes. Sinn says the 6200 WG Meisterbund I is no longer available in its current collection. The official information establishes the 55-piece edition size and discontinued status, but does not establish a current resale price or the number of watches presently available on the secondary market. The €14,500 figure reported by WatchTime in 2018 is not a current-market benchmark.

Warranty and buying a pre-owned example
Sinn’s archived product page states a two-year worldwide manufacturer warranty against material and manufacturing defects, calculated from the invoice date. It says warranty claims require the watch and proof of purchase, and lists exclusions that include improper use, unauthorized repair, wear and impact. Because this model is discontinued, a prospective buyer should confirm with Sinn and the seller whether any warranty applies to the specific watch and what documentation is available.
