The Sinn 613 St and 613 St UTC share a 41 mm stainless-steel dive-chronograph design, a 60-minute stopwatch display and a captive, ratcheting diver’s bezel. The functional difference is the UTC model’s additional second-time-zone display, shown on a 24-hour basis. Sinn also states 50 bar/500 m pressure resistance for the model line; the certification evidence it publishes applies to a tested sample set, not an individual test of every watch.
What separates the 613 St from the 613 St UTC?
The 613 St UTC adds a second time zone on a 24-hour basis. Sinn’s technical details for the UTC list hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds, date, that second-time-zone function and a chronograph with a 60-minute stopwatch display.
The core proposition is otherwise a shared dive chronograph: Sinn presents both as 41 mm stainless-steel watches with a captive, minute-ratcheting diver’s bezel. Choose the UTC if a second time-zone indication is useful to you; the supplied specifications do not establish a performance advantage for it over the 613 St.

What the UTC movement and construction details include
Sinn identifies the UTC model’s automatic movement as SW 535. Its technical sheet lists 23 bearing jewels, 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, a seconds stop and anti-magnetism under DIN 8309.
The UTC specification also names a bead-blasted stainless-steel case, front sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, screw-fastened nickel-free case back, screw-down crown and resistance to low pressure. Sinn lists sapphire crystal, Ar-Dehumidifying Technology, magnetic-field protection up to 100 mT (80,000 A/m), a captive bezel and D3-System pushers among the model-line features. Sinn describes its Ar-Dehumidifying Technology as reducing the risk of fogging and supporting functional reliability; these are the manufacturer’s descriptions.

Does the 613 St UTC really have a 500 m rating?
Sinn states water and pressure resistance to 500 m/50 bar for the UTC, and says testing is against the technical requirements of DIN 8306 and DIN 8310, with testing based on EN 250 / EN 14143 and certification by an independent institute. The published evidence is more specific than simply calling it “a 500 m dive watch.”
Sinn’s brochure reproduces a DNV certificate issued in Hamburg on 2024-12-06 for the SINN 613 St diving-watch type line. The certificate identifies representative serial range 613.3001–613.5000 and says eight watches were tested. It records supervised pressure tests on 2024-11-07 at 50 bar and 63 bar, corresponding in the certificate to 500 msw, using fresh water. It also records conditioning at −30°C and +70°C with 95% relative humidity, and cites DNV Rules for Classification of Underwater Technology and EN250:2014 and EN14143:2013. The certificate is reproduced in the Sinn model brochure.

That certificate documents testing of eight samples from the stated serial range; it does not establish that every production watch receives an individual DNV test. Nor does a stated depth rating or the certificate replace appropriate dive-equipment practices.
Bracelet or silicone strap: check the exact reference
Sinn’s materials show differing configurations across versions and catalogue depictions, including black silicone and a solid stainless-steel bracelet with strap-length fine adjustment. They do not establish that every reference or retailer listing includes both, or that one is standard across the range. Check the exact reference and the contents of the current seller listing before purchase. Sinn’s 2025/2026 catalogue states a three-year guarantee.

Which model makes more sense for you?
- Choose the 613 St UTC if you will use its 24-hour second-time-zone display—for example, to keep track of another time zone while traveling or coordinating with people elsewhere.
- Consider the 613 St if you want the shared dive-chronograph design and do not need the UTC model’s listed second-time-zone function.
- Compare the exact configuration if strap or bracelet choice matters. Catalogue imagery alone does not confirm what a particular seller includes.
- Assess fit in person if possible. The published 41 mm case diameter gives one useful dimension, but the cited materials do not establish wrist comfort or fit across different wearers.
The available Sinn documents establish specifications and configuration depictions, not current prices, stock, individual watch test histories or independent wear-test results.
